Yummy! I’m glad I found a semi-café-like relaxed spot near the place I work. The staff are super friendly and the décor reminds me of a jungle: low hanging plants, and wooden furniture. I got the Taco Rice for lunch– it’s a good portion of rice with a layer of ground beef(?), lettuce, and a runny egg. I couldn’t for the life of me find the runny egg yolk but then realized it might be why the sauce was yellow-ish. To me, it tasted like some cumin curry-like sauce with pickling liquid, but all the chef said it was was«salsa sauce» lol. Mystery. It was delicious, though! The lunch set also comes with a drink, and I got a hot coffee. I decided to get the 300yen add-on dessert option, and went with the Chocolate Cake. It’s a very dense, mousse-y cake. The menu says it has cream cheese in it, so that gives you an idea of the texture. The cream cheese made it a little tangy, and it wasn’t a very sweet cake, which was great. The bittersweet cake comes with a large dollop of glossy whipped cream, a drizzle of chocolate syrup, and some spots of grape(?) jam. Went well with the coffee and ended my lunch nicely. :) They have a variety of seating so it’s both comfortable to come alone, or to come with a group of friends, as they have larger tables for…~6?
