A bakery café in Roppongi Hills. I’m a breakfast guy. You know, the type that gets up fairly early and eats a full breakfast. Yet, I hate paying too much for breakfast. Many establishments want to charge as much for breakfast as lunch. Come on! Under ¥500 is my target. Under ¥700 is acceptable. Over ¥1000 — Time to cook my own breakfast. So the unfortunate outcome is a visit to McDonald’s. Keyakizaka Bakery is my other alternative for under ¥500 breakfast. During their breakfast time(8AM to L.O.10:30), if you purchase any item, you get to enjoy their self service coffee/tea bar. All you can drink! Cream-pan: 190 Yen Coffee: 0 Yen TOTAL: 190 Yen PASTRIES: Quality is good, but I am never super impressed. They seem to be proud of their Melon-Pan, but I find it average tasting. Their croissant is decent, but nothing to scream about. I wouldn’t travel a distance in order to try their bread. Another big reason I love this place is their outdoor seating space. Since the store is on 3 °F facing Roppongi Residence courtyard, it is a very peaceful environment. Not of of those terrace seating that faces a busy street. It sure beats terrace seating at Eggcellent. which is in the tunnel.
