Free wifi and tax free shopping for gaijin(if you’re reading this in English, that means you). Yodabashi is the Japanese take on Best Buy only bigger with a better selection and much higher prices. Good place to window shop the save yourself some ¥¥¥ on Rukatan or ! Joking. Sale staff is actually pretty competent and knows about the product unlike Best Buy or Amazon.

Yodobashi Camera This is a electronics store that sells all the top electronic goods, including things like 4k hd hdd hdv hdr cd’s dvd’s TV’s washing machines toasters radios radio remote control cars microwaves toys magazines video games cameras and watches just to name a few. There are many stores dotted about in every major city in Japan, a must go to for people that like gadgets as there’s pretty much everything here under the same roof, computers to mobile phones ideal if you are shopping around for a new phone, as i was not so long ago. you’ll find everything that runs on battery’s and electricity here. Located at the back of Sendai Station its not that hard to find as its pretty big. This was once attached to the back of the station but now moved just across the street.

Yodobashi is located behind Sendai Station. It’s a huge multi-level store that sells camera gear, computers, kitchen gadgets and appliances, printers, cell phones(I’ve never seen so many phone covers), toys, televisions… and much more. It’s an overwhelming playground for guys. If an item can be classified as «electronics» it can be found here. There are plenty of sales associates, more than I’ve seen in any store; there is always one within sight to answer any questions you may have. Foreign visitors should be aware that they only speak Japanese. I’ve come here to buy things like kitchen tongs and printer ink — that’s the range of what this store offers.
