This beer garden was super fun. It’s set up like a German restaurant with long tables shared by multiple groups. The foam on my beer was frozen like a slurpee and kept my beer nice and cool to the last sip. I also enjoyed an orange flavored beer cocktail which was very tasty. To eat I had pizza and chicken wings. The pizza was ok, but the chicken wings were fantastic. The sauce was amazing. Definitely check this place out.

Unilocal — please change the status of this place immediately! It’s definitely not closed. We came here hoping to catch the women’s soccer game against Italy and found it pretty packed. No seating(standing room only) and waiters and waitresses running around carrying plates of pizzas and ribs to tables. I enjoyed the vibe here. It’s not really a beer garden, per se, but they do the best they can to make it one, especially in the middle of the concrete jungle that is Shibuya. In case you want to try something other than the usual brews, you can also get one of their frosty beers(beer cocktails) which include tomato, grapefruit and orange.

Sit in the front of the video presentation if you want to be able to read the English subtitles. Good selection of beers and snack food. Great for a stop over and rest the feet.

View a short, three projector, wide screen video on the brewing process, then enter for a selection of Kirin draft beers, straight up or with a frozen foam head and also choose from a selection of small bites. Nice space, frosty beer, happy people… It’s all good. Opens at 4pm, and it’s in Shibuya for a limited time only.
