I walked in here thinking it was japanese BBQ grill spot. Even though this place was not a BBQ grilling spot I’m glad that me and my friends stumbled in here. The food here is amazing at a reasonable price. you can also get beer in for 380 yen which totals out to be around 3 bucks. I ordered the grilled pork with sesame oil. I usually don’t finish large portions for lunch but I ate everything that was served to me. Service was also pretty fast and majority of the server can speak good enough english to service you. Only issue is this place is pretty small but it’s in Japan what’s not small there?

Torrance, CA
As the name implies, they serve you a sizzling hot plate with your choice of meat, chicken, and some veggies. Good food and good service. One time I jokingly pointed at my empty beer glass and the chef started scolding the poor waitress, who ran over with a beer and a apology. I felt very badly — but the point being they are serious about customer happiness!
Location is on Meijidori so it is easy to find.
