Lilly Cakes is a small dessert place located right next to TY Harbor on Tennozu Isle. Its also operated by the same company, Tyson and Company. To say the least, I’ve never been disappointed with any of the restaurants from this company. The dessert here is surprisingly cheaper than I thought, I think around ¥300-¥500 per item. Each dessert looks very beautiful, and equally delicious. I have the triangle shortcake, which was a triangle shaped strawberry shortcake. Thumbs up! And apparently Tyson and Company also works with the famous Nozy coffee, as they have the Roastery in Shibuya, Nozy’s second shop, right under Tyson’s BBQ joint the Smokehouse. So if you feel like you need to finish off that delicious dessert cake with great coffe, Lilly Cakes got you covered

This place is great for a relaxing afternoon. They have a few tables outside on a wooden patio. There are a few small trees which creates a great atmosphere on a very quiet, dead end street. It seems like the area is getting built up a bit with T.Y. Harbor Brewery anchoring one end and Bond St. Kitchen at the other. And if I’m not mistaken, the parent company to all three, in addition to breadworks, is Tysons & Company. Nice job. But back to Lily Cakes. Maybe one of the best chocolate chip cookies I have had in Japan. Levain Bakery is tops when it comes to chocolate chip cookies, but this petite version is pretty good.
