Aureole has it all — excellent, healthy food made with fresh ingredients, a warm well-designed interior that creates a home-like feeling, smiling and friendly wait staff, and reasonable prices. It faces out onto Shinjuku Gyoen(National Park) and sitting in their outside terrace surrounded by greenery and flowers, you’d never guess you are close to the center of one of the busiest, most bustling cities in the world. I’m most familiar with their luncheon menu which includes a ‘wrap’ sandwich, pasta(always superb), pizza, and a large ‘genmai’(brown rice) plate. Take-out too for the sandwiches.
