If you want to eat pufferfish then this is the place. However, if you’re planning on attending with a group, make sure everyone wants to eat pufferfish since thats the only thing they serve here. The dishes were fresh and savory and the service was on point. Didn’t feel like i was going to die after so that was good. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is adventurous. P. s. So you want to try fugu… the famous fish that if not properly prepared could kill you… well this is a possible spot to try it… I personally didn’t try the fugu but had other things… wasn’t ready to possibly die yet for the sake of food! So at the entrance there is a fish tank with the fugu still alive and swimming around. This place is that fresh. In fact, perhaps a little freaky but, the fugu came to our table with the cuts of fish still moving. You could still see the poor thing’s muscles beating. It’s that fresh. The meal is best done as a shared meal where you just order tons of dishes and everyone digs in. One of the best things on the menu was a fugu nabe type dish where you cook it on the table in these amazing pots. It’s a basket with a piece of paper lining it and then you cook everything in there. It’s crazy and you have to see it to believe it.(This dish was the fugu still moving dish if you’re a little queasy). Be prepared to spend a lot for this delicacy, and this place isn’t even one of the really expensive spots.
