I think people are talking about two different places in the previous reviews. I’ll be talking about the sushi place at C6 in the station. The prices are amazing and if you don’t want to wait there is a to go section. I waited in the line once and grabbed sushi to go once. Love it!

I had no idea nor did I want to stand in this restaurant, especially after walking all day around ikebukoro. I competent forgot about the pain in my legs though when they showed how to make tea with their powder and water faucet. Include the sizes of their sushi and how tasty each piece was I would highly recommend this place!

Holy shit this was delish and super reasonably priced! So much fun too – you order on an iPad and then it choochoo trains on a separate conveyer belt over to you, then you gab your plate and then push the button to have the empty caboose go back for more. PROTIP: the address on this Unilocal page is SOWRONG. go to this place’s Facebook page and copy and paste the address from there! As stated by another Unilocaler, it’s the Seibo building next to the Ikekuburo station, 8th floor! Good luck and good eating! Oh yeah, the prime uni, prime eel, fatty salmon and raw crab was The BOMBBBBBB

Unfortunately we did not get to eat here. But I would still like to post this review for your information. First we followed the Google map address and direction, but it took us to the wrong place, the Ikebukuro Marui dept store 10′ away. Don’t go there! This restaurant can be accessed directly through the Ikebukuro station. If you arrive by train, stay underground and walk towards the Seibu department store. You enter the department store and take the elevator up to the 8th floor. It is a Restaurant Street on the 8th floor and full of good restaurants. We arrived after 2PM and found the very long line outside of the restaurant. It was going to be at least an hour wait and you have to stay in line. We didn’t have the time to wait so we end up eating at another sushi restaurant a few doors down the street. The main difference here is it’s good food and low price. The place we ate at, «鱼寿» is good but a lot more expensive. At their Ginza store they do give you a number and allow you to leave the line. Wish they had the same system here. Wasting an hour sitting there is not what I will do for any food. Sorry!

Excellent quality for the price. We ate at one of the standing tables, which was fine because we were just trying to eat a quick lunch. My boyfriend and I ate here twice during our Tokyo trip.

This place was hard to find. It’s underground where the subway is. Look for the area called«Echika.» I think it’s the name of an underground shopping area next to Ikebukuro Station. If I remember correctly, try look for the C6 exit and the restaurant is in that area. It’s not big, should keep your eyes open. We went around 1−2pm and there was a line of about 10 people already. Luckily, there were some seats to sit on while waiting. The wait didn’t take that long. If you’re going during lunch, definitely get the lunch set. If not, you can order pieces individual but you’ll have to ask the sushi chefs. Oh, this is a standing sushi bar. The counter area has room for about 6 people. There’s also 2 tables where you also have to stand, which is about a few feet from the counter. Ordering from the bar area is more convenient. As for the prices, you won’t find a cheaper place that serves this level of quality sushi. Take a look at the menu picture of a exact pricing for lunch time.
