My Japanese colleagues rave about Chinese food in Japan so I had to give it a try. Came here for lunch and the restaurant have tables out in the front as well as larger banquet tables in the back where office types can share seating at the same table. We got two lunch specials with one being the daily special that came with salad, pickles, rice, soup, and dessert for 750 yen each. Main entrees were 1) sliced pork stir-fry with ginger, bamboo shoots, wood-ear mushroom and Asian snow peas 2) Beef and onion stir-fry. What I noticed is that both dishes were Japanese-inspired so the taste is a bit sweeter but less heavy with the gravy. Overall it was a quick lunch and reasonably priced. One thing I don’t particularly care for is the Japanese tolerance for smoking in restaurants and this place is no different.
