Disclamer: I added all of the business information from personal experience, if you find errors in the administrative data, it is Not the fault of the business… blame me! Which brings up the point, why wasnt this elegant, warming, esthetically pleasing restaurant/bar & Grill added in Unilocal?Zet and Unilocal staff? Location: Across from Yamashita Park which houses one of the best«boardwalk-walks» in Yokohama, live entertainment, boat cruises and top notch restaurants(Google«Bills Café»), not to mention the eye-watering view from the tallest lighthouse in the world(…in the world Criag!), the Yokohama Marine Tower! Yes, this steel lattice lighthouse stands 348 feet in manly height and is only a 7 minute walk from Zet! And if the moderately priced menu at Zet doesn’t tickle your fancy, no worries, there’s a McDonald’s right downstairs; no better yet, the«lets wait in line on the weekend» highly salavated Hawaiian«Eggs N Things» is located next door! It really is great food, see my review on Foursquare! Seating: Bar seating not comfortable for tall people(very low profile back support chairs) Atmosphere/Greeting: 5 Star! I’m talking coat service as well as chair service. But, beware, its quite warm inside and depending on where youre sitting, it can get quite smoky. Pricing: $$(thats right, fancy restaurant with average pricing, so bring the«back-up» and impress them(him/her) while saving money for the truly expensive hotel nearby)(eye wink) Food: Finally right… well let me say this, by far the best food, overall, I’ve had not only in Japan, but period! Execpt for my mommy’s food of course(yes I still call er mommy!) After they haunt down the, what seemed to be the only English menu, they quickly put my order in and it arrived in a decent time, first up: — French Fries with Truffe’s Flavor(don’t look at me, I don’t know what it is either!) But I’ll tease your tastebuds… imagine those Golden Arches fries topped with garnish and shreeded paremasean cheese, lightly seasoned for the starchy aficionado. By far the best fries I’ve ever had! EVER! The closest taste were fries from this spot in Santa Ana, CA next to the Culinary School at The Art Institute of Santa Ana(use to go there on my school breaks). Price: 500 yen. — Cesar Salad: I think I added pork(Japanese bacon) or it came with it, either way, this colorful, tummy-filling, taste-bud stroking, made-in-front of you, fresh mouthwatering salad is… wait for it… the best salad I’ve EVERHAD! EVER. Real Cesar sauce, curton bread, presentation, bacon(pork) all complimented the salad well. Normally I would have provideded a photo, but I became lost in translation after the first bite! Speaking of «Lost In Translation» theres a Martini at the New York Bar in the Park Haytt Hotel(52nd Floor) in Tokyo that has a Martini called«Lost In Translation»(Based on that movie actually being shot there, you know, the one with Bill Murray). Okay, I’m back, this Martini is the best I’ve EVER had! EVER! Dont ask me whats in it, I just know at ~ 2,300 yen a pop, and 4 of Em later… it wont even matter! Price: 850 yen(price is for the salad) — Cream Risotto with Fresh Grated Cheese & Black Pepper: 5 Stars. Althogh this is listed in the Pasta section, risotto is more like a rice :) But if you’re lactose intolerant, annnnd you’re a Muslim, this, is not the dish for you my friend. It was however, the best risotto I’ve had in a long time(since I made it for a grade in Culinary School of course! :) Price: 980 yen(no, not for Culinary School, the risotto!) — Drinks: Adults sitting at the bar, be Aware, that fancy draft beer draped in green that you think is beer, is not(sad face :(, it’s actually Apple Juice… I Know… WTF. but, the two next to it will set you right, try the«Hartland» Language: Despite bartender H. Tojo’s nervousness in front of a big American, he didnt speak English and became frustrated with my questions in English and my agressive pointing at Google Translator for iPhones. But… he didnt give up, he did the traditional Japanese«teeth sucking» followed by the traditional, yet dangerous, Japanese«Let Me Hurry And Figure This Out“run to the back and got the only English speaking staff worker(who was cute by the way), came out and saved the day. Attire: Casual. Definitely dont want to come straight from the gym here, although they probably wont turn you around, the business attire from participating guests will make you feel like a dirtbag. Okay, tired of typing on this Sony Xperia Tablet, I bid you adue(now that I think about it, I mentioned a lot of brands in this review! I should get compensated! But with my luck, I may get sued! Enjoy!!!
