Carousel is one of the cutest you store I’ve been to. They have such cute vintage items for sale as well. This is the place to get really nice toy gifts. There is only one or two people working at the shop but they get the job done. Carousel’s presentation is really attractive as well, there are tons of nutcrackers at all sizes lined up at the front of the store.
There are a lot of other shops around it as well. Publika is a very nice place to buy out of the box gifts, there is kaleidoscope which has quite a bit of good quality gifts.

The british royal guards (whatever they are called) displayed at the entrance of this store caught my eyes at first. Upon closer inspection I realised this was actually a toy store! Cool decorations and definitely eye-​catching. Stepping in you’d be amazed by their wide range of toys and collectives.
It is a cramped small store but you can most certainly find something unique here to take home for yourself. I love their 3D mini dinosaur puzzles and all the toy guards in various sizes. They also have huge plush toys.
Prices are very decent here, a mini puzzle would cost no more than 20RM. The place is so colourful you inevitably feel a rush of happiness as you browse the store. And if you’re like me, with each toy I see I scream inside «omg i used to play with these when I was little!!!». A lovely store that you have to come and visit, even if just for the rush of happiness :)

Carousel is a great little toy store. I’ve bought lots of stuff here, from tea party sets to scooters to the bigger stuff like a wooden kitchen. They carry Hape products which I adore so I often go there just to look if I’m not buying.
They have cute kitschy stuff like music boxes, nutcrackers and wind-​up toys too, so a great place to shop for adults who are looking for unique gifts.
My daughter always wants to go in every time we pass by because the entrance is so inviting. During our last visit, it looks like they have also rented out the next store to make way for a bigger space. Can’t wait to make an outing of it with the whole family!

Carousel is one of the many places resurfacing around KL that takes advantage of older human’s nostalgia and then present them with toys that are priced at least five times the price of what it used to be decades ago.
With toys ranging from old to even more old, the toys are superficially aimed at the humans who wants to let their kids experience what they did in the olden days; playing with old wooden toys or toys laced with bright, poisonous paint. Of course, all of us are built in with nostalgia that makes us buy these items, and then subsequently regretted it because we realized that iPads and other electronic devices exist.
To be fair, the ambience of this place resembles a place of fun and olden glory, and a a place to unconsciously spend money on. Ah well, capitalism has not been this exploiting since Donald Trump’s existence.

This is a toy shop that i have spent quite long in there just to look at the toys that they have. The shop itself is not too big, but once you’re in there you can’t help but to try to discover every toys in there, especially for those which will remind you of your childhood.
They have toys for different ages in there. well, not really that we could categorize them according to age, but you’ll see such a big varieties of them in there.
Of course, you need to be careful while walking around in there as they have pretty limited space, adding to the so many toys that are cramping the place up.
Of course, as we know toys aren’t cheap. However, for you to be able to get so many different and hard to find toys in one single place, i think the price labeled is fair enough.
Will still come back again to see what’s new!

A exquiste toy shop ANYONE CAN PLAY! I usually will not spoil kids with toys when they grow up but this place has toys that not only stupidly play but the toys they have here are all educational and you get to learn while playing.
Kids usually reminiscence childhood and that is how we know our childhood favorite toys and as for Carousel, they have different types of games that will even test IQ or creating new imagination.
They even sell clothes and games that you never even possibly know it even exist. Despite the price, sometimes it

Even if you’re not a kid or a parent this fun little shop is still a place of interest. Especially if you have a mind of a 5 year old. A vintage London-​style toy store, it is colourful and playful, with life sized nutcrackers guarding the entrance. I could not help but wish I was a kid again.
If you’re a parent or just happen to know a child, you’ll might just want to spoil them with a item or two here. Stocking toys, costumes and books for all ages, maybe you’ll finally be able to get that child to put down the iPad. I know I will. Oh if only I was a kid again.
I think this shop stands out because they have toys you won’t typically see in Asia, like a ginormous wooden doll house. And in terms of quality, they seem to be of a higher grade than what you would see in Toys «R» Us. So if you’re looking for toys that are made to last, you should put this on your list to go.

Although I don’t have a baby, I like going here to buy gifts for my nieces and friends who have babies. Carousel offers a massive variety of creative and interactive toys for your child from the early ages of 5 months onwards! The even have gifts you can give to adults (that still enjoy kiddy stuff).
The shop assistant is very friendly and always welcomes us with a big smile on her face, which is always nice for customers.
