All the fashionistas would be like oh this place is so for me. Owned by a local designer, their collections here are surely of the more specially designed and fashionable designs. So, if you have gotten bored with the usual men clothes range, and you wanted a twist to your wardrobe — but not as distinct as what philosophy boutique offers — this boutique would be like in the middle, offering some good looking but not too outstanding fashion pieces. Of course, located in bangsar village 2, this means that their price tag will not be too cheap — do expect to pay for the slightly above average prices. But, for their sewing quality, I think the quality does still reflect the price well. Overall, finally a new boutique to shop for guys — great!

In a city where womenswear dominates, it’s refreshing to see a menswear boutique appeared middle of nowhere. Well, technically it is located in Bangsar. Ran by local designer Vincent Siow, this young bright thing might be the next big name in fashion world. The store is artfully transformed with paper art as wall décor; while the layout is clean and easy to browse. But the really gist are the offerings. Commoddity designs are fashion-forward without being avant-garde. There are many wearable pieces ranging from neo prene t-shirts, jogger pants and bomber jackets. When it comes to price, you might be surprised to find that it is extremely affordable. With a shirt priced at as low at RM80. Famed famous blogger Bryanboy was seen wearing some of the pieces from Commoddity. Do I need to say more?

Owned by a personal friend of mine, this review might be a little biased. The clothes are AMAZING!!! Lol but seriously, they really are. The suits are sharp, the shirts are bold and the accessories are totally drool-worthy. I’m about to bombard you with a whole lot of pictures to prove this to you so brace yourselves! The store has moved to a newer space since it first opened(center court, 1st floor.) The new shop is nice and modern. Everything is arranged neatly and the interior is designed minimally so that the clothes could do all the talking(I don’t see why the other boutiques don’t apply this brilliant concept.) They produce clothing mainly for men but I don’t see a reason as to why women can’t shop there and get the whole ‘boyfriend look’? I implore you to notice the tailored fit of the shirts and the newer, slimmer cuts on pants. They are in no way lacking in terms of design either. The accessories that they carry are nothing to be scoffed at and are simply intense. I have put three pieces on hold with them that I have yet to pick up. But I only get this advantage because I know the owner and designer personally. Three cheers to networking!
