Garret’s Popcorn is good, don’t get me wrong but it’s also expensive as 24RM a bag.
it’s also very, very sweet to the point where my teeth started hurting after snacking through half a bag with my boyfriend while we watched a movie.
The cheese flavour gets two thumbs up though.

Can you imagine luxury popcorn? Neither can I but the price begs the differ.
This is not a place you get your fill before entering the movies. Its a place where a package cost RM24 and the options are limitless. You can pick between, butter, salty, caramel and many many more.
I usually have popcorn only at the movies but if you love having this more often than that do give it a try. But like I said, expect the cost to be slightly higher then a regular pack you get at the movies.

I normally buy popcorn when I go for a movie.
But after I discovered this place, I started to buy popcorn all the time. The store has a great position, at the entrance in the mall, from the Gardens side. i like the fact that they have many toppings from where you can choose. My favourite one is the caramel one which is heavenly. The only downside is of the store is the fact that is quite expensive… the small pack is around RM24. I know that the popcorn is good but is too expensive. Another amazing combination is the Cheese one and Macadamia Caramel Crisp.
The staff is very nice and friendly and they serve the order quite fast, even when the place is full. Which happens very often.

I could never imagine popcorn can go premium, not until I cam across Garret Popcorn. I was amazed how creative one can get with simple snack of popcorn and make it taste so different and good from the original.
At the same time, the price for Garret Popcorn is rather absurd. It is so pricey that I don’t see myself buying a packet for snacking. However, I don’t mind just sampling the samples every now and then.
Well, that’s where their service comes in. The staff at Garret Popcorn are kind enough to let me or probably many others to sample their awesome but expensive popcorn without making any purchase.
It was just this once that I bought a pack of it, and boy they do get soft really fast. So if you do buy them, especially in a packet, finish it in the same day. If not buy the one in the tin, which is more expensive but it does keep longer.

I still remember the first time I saw this Popcorn chain opened a new branch at KLCC and I banned myself from buying it because it’s just too highly priced.
One day, my parents visited town and they are obsessed with almonds and macadamias, just because my hometown does not sell these nuts. So they saw Garrett’s popcorn and my Dad was like, «What is this??? Almond and macadamia popcorn??? Let’s try!» And so who can say no to their excited parents?
It tasted… Heavenly. But RM 24 for a tiny container of popcorn is just too evil! I agree though that some people comment that it is enough eating a small container of the popcorn since it is very rich in taste… But I won’t mind them selling me RM 24 for bigger container — I don’t mind keeping, really. Lol.
Bottom line, the popcorn taste is worth the hype, but I still think it is expensive for regular buys. Though, it could be a lovely yummy treats for our loved one for even for ourselves once in a while. Garrett popcorn also gives a choice to package your purchases in a pretty tin instead of a regular plastic bag. :)

Garret is shop that sell nothing but popcorn. A popcorn that made by good quality of ingredients as well as selling in high class price. But I would say is it’s worth to try. You might even craving for it after you tried.
I’m very picky when its come to popcorn, usually whenever I’m having popcorn, I will always pick those wrapped with caramel which means I will also discriminate those unwrapped with caramel and discard them aside. But Garret popcorn doesn’t give me a chance to do that, all of the popcorns are coated with heavy caramel or other flavors you choose. I personally love caramel crisp which consist not only caramel but also butter, brown sugars and crème brûlée crunch that provide you a rich taste of sensation. It’s super sweet, I usually takes one whole week to finish it as having it all at once will cause me toothache.
If you’re not a sweet lover, go for cheesecon! It’s wrap up with cheese and tastes aromatic cheesy salty. I’m also cheese lover, but if you want me to choose, I will go for caramel crisp. You will never forget the caramel savory.

A Chicago-​based popcorn outlet, Garret Popcorn has transformed the dynamic of this highly sought-​after treat for the better nationwide. As versatile as it can be, popcorn can be enjoyed anywhere and anytime. So, when i first heard of the hype on this place, I knew I had to try it out.
Let me begin by telling you that the prices here are NOT wallet-​friendly. I paid about RM 24 for their smallest pack. However, I may add that it is worth trying and anyone who enjoys not giving their sweet tooth a break would definitely enjoy the popcorn here.
Caramel, Cheese, Mixed Nut Caramel and Macadamia Caramel Crisp are among the flavors that are sold here. My personal favorite is the Mixed Nut Caramel, very crunchy and the caramel is tasted throughout, unlike some conventional popcorn where the flavors are spread throughout.

Garret popcorn is originated from Chicago. Though it was written there, I never realize that until few months back when I visit my sister in Chicago, she showed me the Garret popcorn shop and told me that I should try them out. I proudly told her «we have it back in Malaysia!». Then she told me that it is originated from Chicago. Oh. I didn’t know about that. Hehe… How blur.
Though I like having popcorns whenever I went to movie but I’m not very into Garret’s popcorn because I find it overly sweet. But one thing for sure. Their popcorn is unlike the ordinary popcorn we have in the cinema. They have more flavors to choose from and of course better quality too. Although they are not my favorite, they are my elder sister’s favorite popcorn. Whenever she comes here for shopping, she will surely grab a pack home to snack while watching movie.

I call this brand the designer popcorn, one because its expensive and two because its actually quite good and it’ll last you for years and years. Ok not really, but I wasn’t kidding about the really good part though, and the expensive part.
One thing you should know about this popcorn is that it keeps really well in the fridge and doesn’t lose its crunch even after a few days. How they manage to engineer that is beyond me but I do appreciate the feat. I love, love, LOVE their Macadamia Caramel flavor. Its super good, and my doctor has always told me to snack on nuts instead of fried chicken and seeing how Macadamia is a nut, I don’t think this is far off from what he implied.
I’ve tried the other flavors as well but I keep coming back to this one, because my doctor wants me to keep track of my weight (I was getting a little tubby at one time) and I always listen to what my doctor says. The interior of the branch in Mid Valley is fairly small, with just one display unit and a small space for which you line up and pay. Simple and fat-​free.
The nice people behind the counter are all smiles, almost as if thinking, «dude, you gon’ get so fat!» and they’re always super helpful too. «Imma’ make you run on that treadmill forever!»
They don’t call it gourmet popcorn for nothing.

Garret Popcorn, super sweet but I still love it! LOL. Maybe if it’s not that sweet, I will give it a 5 star on this review. However, Garret popcorn is actually quite good, consider each of the pieces is very crispy and coated with caramel, unlike the popcorns sold in cinemas, some are actually tasteless, of course the price is also very different. LOL!
Garret Popcorn is selling a few flavours such as the very common one — caramel, cheese and also the caramel popcorn mixed with different types of nuts. My favourite popcorn is the Macadamia CaramelCrisp. If you have yet to try it out, then should go and get one, except it is too sweet, i don’t see why you don’t like it. hehe

Garret popcorn! yes i am fan of Garret popcorn. Even though its super sweet. I never tried others menu except for the caramel. Since the caramel already extremely sweet, i cant imagine for cheese or any other menu.
The price for the popcorn. yes its quite expensive. I only bought the popcorn when i crave for it or when i saw money in my purse: P

Garrett’s popcorn shops are the very best. super tasty, coloured popcorn like mixed with almonds and honey it’s just so amazing I just had it last week with my friend we went to the movies. I definitely recommend it, you do not want to miss out on this experience that you have popcorn with cheese I mean seriously that is amazing you cannot live without tasting the popcorn at Garrett’s!
One short notice, it’s not very cheap, but the small portion is big enough for two people. if you add more you’d weight more the following day: D and you probably don’t want to do that right? :) (about 24rm for the small pack). make sure you share! to reduce the price and because sharing is caring :)

I really dont see what the big deal is about Garrets Popcorn, i think its overly priced and its just wayyy to sweet! Urgh.

You might think that such a gourmen popcorn store located in KLCC will be crowded all the times, but in fact no. I think this is also due to their location in the mall, that is actually quite a cornered place.
So, you will not usually walk pass the place unless you happen to walk into that corner.
They always have their staff sampling their popcorn here around their store area. However, sometimes the popcorn samples get exposed for quite a while as well, so I’m not too sure about how fresh they still are.
Talking about gourmet popcorn, of course the price tag will be of the gourmet range as well. So do prepare to pay the extra bucks for the premium quality. One thing attractive is that they have a lot of different flavours for their popcorn here, so if you are a popcorn die hard fans, do pay this place a visit as I’m sure that you’ll like it.
Staff are rather friendly here. Overall, not so ideal location — a bit hard to find, above average popcorn quality, and if you are ready to splurge, then yes, by all means visit the store!

Garrett’s sells gourmet popcorn. What is gourmet you may ask, overpriced. Thats what it is. It is really good popcorn no doubt about that but really RM20 for a medium sized bag of whats essentially corn that has been popped and smothered in caramel or cheese or whatever else.
The first time I tried Garrett’s was like 5 years ago around the time it first opened. I found it nothing special cause mum bought the cheese popcorn which essentially taste like cheezels that have been left opened for a bit so air could get in. Except you pay RM 20 for these. This time around, last week to be exact. I went again and bought a medium bag of the caramel popcorn. Much better. Every kernel was generously covered by caramel, but this made it way to sweet and you can only eat like so little at a time cause you just can’t take how sweet it is.
I would probably buy Garrett’s again if i have a popcorn craving and feel like splurging. But all in all, nah. Not worth it.

Garrett Popcorn sells delicious popcorns like macadamia caramel crisp, cheese corn, caramel crisp and garrett mix. The popcorns can be packaged in tin buckets, which is a very original idea and is good for parties. However, it’s quite expensive, but the taste makes up for it!

Everyone loves Garret Popcorns. Everyone’s obsessed and crazy about this popcorn, even my brother but to be honest I dislike them because of their strong and firm scent which makes it more revolting. You could not miss the scent once you are nearby ‘that’ hallway, I mean. It’s too overpowering (in my opinion)
My brother tend to mumble at my ear and telling me how ‘perfect’ is Garret Popcorn is, he even bought me a pack to try. I have to say it wasn’t as good as it everyone described. Especial Caramel. Both of them taste extremely strong. i feel that I might get diabetes just by eating caramel popcorn from Garrett Popcorn. Yeah they were that sweet. Plus, they charges irrelevant price. One could cost up to RM 20++ for merely a small pack.
Still despite strong taste, there’s still countless people loves them which I think is absurd. But you should at least give it a try and be the judge. Enjoy
