Kwong Siew Free School

Located in Jalan Tun H. S. Lee, this free school is provided by the Kwong Siew Association inside the Kuan Yi Temple. Mom sent me to learn my Chinese here when I was in my primary and secondary school. In total I’ve studied here for 8 years. Personally I treat this as a tuition class.
This school is run by the Kwong Siew Association and I was very fortunate that mom made the effort to send me to this school to learn the Chinese language. It used to be daily classes (Monday to Friday) conducted from 9am to 12pm, 2 hours break before the afternoon session which will end by 4pm. However, due to lacking of demand and funds, the classes now are merely 3 times a week (morning session — for 2 hours). It is filled with only retirees and elderly people like my mom :)
They use the public school syllabus to conduct the class which gives students a good advantage! The best part is now they only charge RM22 per month! It is definitely a good place to learn your Chinese.
