Most of us might know about the famous Teo Chew Cendol in Penang. I will never fail to have it everytime I’m visiting the Island. But something unexpected happened! It finally decided to have a branch in Publika. Of cause I went there with expectations of what I tasted in Penang.
Never have I been let down so much. The price was slightly raised here, which is understandable due to the rent and cost of living here. But the quality of the food should not be decreased!
It was diluted, the ice was not crushed properly, and I could literally count the amount of cendol I have in my bowl. Even the service here was bad during my visit. I’ve never came back ever since. They should live up to their name.
P.S– To clarify, this is ONLY for the branch in Publika.
