From the guys behind Tom, Dick and Harry’s, now there’s Ali, Muthu and Ah Hock. The popular dish here is the nasi ayam goreng, which is great if you’re ever in a hurry and want to eat something which gets served quickly. On the down side, because every component in that dish is premade, you might end up with a not-so-warm dish. Oh, and no service tax or GST… yet.

Ali, Muthu and Ah Hock is available at Petaling Street and also Oasis Ara Damansara. Woohoo for PJ folks! It is located behind Old Town Kopitiam and can be easily missed because of their simple signboard. During lunchtime on weekdays, it is typically fully packed with office worker since there are banks and offices in the area. The kopitiam can be quite hot during the afternoon and do not expect to park very near to them. Many parking spaces are reserved for OKU. I recommend trying out their nasi lemak with chicken(nasi lemak ayam) priced at RM9.50. Portion is big and best of all they serve quarter chicken thigh every single plate. Save you the hassle of requesting chicken thigh. I also love the taste of their rice though the sambal lack spiciness. It also comes with cucumber, half an egg, anchovies and also peanuts. You can also order for takeaway and they will pack it in a container neatly for you unlike other places who just place the sambal on top of the rice. The chicken will be packed in another container to remain its crispiness.
