Hands down the BEST ice cream I have ever had! I don’t know which flavour to choose after sampling their ice creams because all of them tasted BOMB!
On my visit, the durian ice cream were out of stock. Maybe because I came in during the night. But damn, the cempedak ice cream is SOOO GOOD! The Valrhona Chocolate is really good as well surprisingly and it is unlike most chocolate ice cream out there. However, their waffles were just alright for me so definitely go without the waffles.
Try to come off peak hours because it can get really crowded here. Plus the seats are quite limited. Kids will definitely LOVE the swing area!
Having only been here a twice, I know for sure I will be patronizing this ice cream parlour many more times in the future.

I’ve only been here 3 times but I wish I could leave right next to it so I can go everyday! Controlling your diet won’t be possible if you know of Inside Scoop! So awesome!
I’ve tried many flavours so far but my favourite is still a very Malaysian flavour aka DURIAN! Their durian ice cream is da bomb! So creamy and texture is also the same as an actual durian, except it melts in your mouth! It’s amazing!
I’ve also tried cempedak, teh tarik, cookie cream, chocolate and green tea which were all good too but DURIAN IS KING!
Waffles with 3 scoops of ice cream is RM26.50 (if I remember correctly) and it’s quite a big portion so for the ladies, sharing is easier kot unless you’re damn hungry haha
Also, if ya wanna beat the crowd, go around 8pm. People come by at 10++pm for supper and it’s always super crowded! Either that or around tea time, when it’s much less busy :)
Highly recommend! Hope you guys get to try the durian ice cream cause they change up the flavours ever so often :)

Haven’t heard of the Bangsar outlet until this one opened. Since it’s nearer to me than the Bangsar outlet, I figured why not. Love the faux grass areas and the swings. I would come here just for the swing seating ;)
You really can’t go wrong with whichever flavour you decide on, but I have to agree with one of the other reviewers that maybe the teh tarik flavour is a bit too sweet. The waffles are also pretty good and so worth the wait.
That said, I would suggest coming after office hours and when the nearby Maybank is closed, or else it’s just a pain in the butt looking for parking or getting here.

Tucked at the same row as Carnaval (Brazilian Buffet Restaurant), Inside Scoop is just there. There’s nothing much that they offer but good ice cream and gelato. There are many flavours such as vanilla bean, hazelnut, cookies and cream. Gelato: blueberry yogurt, strawberry and pink grapefruit. They also have durian gelato. For those who don’t know what’s Durian. please google it. =D
We (My babes and I, except for J) went over and had dessert. As usual, being unable to pick the ones right away, we took our time trying out whatever we liked. The guy who served us was kind enough to wait on us and also recommend items on the menu to us. After testing and trying and going ‘OMG this is good’ to almost every flavour we tried, we had to settle down with SOMETHING.
So instead of taking scoops (single or double or triple), we ended up with buttermilk waffles with double scoop of ice cream. We took blueberry yogurt. and vanilla bean ice cream.
After waiting and snapping photos around (They have a swing in the shop and other cute decos), our buttermilk waffle came along. It’s not sweet but slightly fluffy. It tasted really good with the blueberry yogurt gelato. The gelato is bit sour-​ish and sweet (YH loves sour stuff). Vanilla bean — basic. Nothing to shout bout.
Overall experience: ⁴⁄₅

Always packed, especially after dinners. I feel more comfortable taking away and eating comfortably in the car. While this shop is twice as large as the one in Telawi — seats still get filled up fast. I once had my most delicious waffles in this branch, it was so fluffy and freshly made — the batter was light and it went so well with the Peanut Butter jelly ice cream. It was godsent! They call them, buttermilk waffles specifically.
Prices however are more on the steep side, expect Baskin Robbins prices or more depending on the flavours you chose. Upon choosing your flavours, the staff will remind you whether it’s premium flavour or not.
Single scoop: RM8, Double RM13.50, Triple RM18.50. RM2 additional for the cone whilst the buttermilk waffles ranges from RM14.50 for single, RM18.50 for double and RM22.50 for triple.
So far i been liking, Milo and Peanut Butter Jelly. Teh Tarik is pretty unique but quick to get ‘jelak’. So if you are here for the first time, do give their waffles a try, it’s freshly made on the spot, no frozen silly things like that.

And not the forget, THE WAFFLEEEE!!! Zomg so gooooodd and I can understand why people would want to queue up for it. Some days the waffle will be sold out, so you gotta make sure you are on time before they announce this miserable news. But anyways if it really got sold out, just get their ice cream :)
I love the durian, chocolate, and vanilla ice cream. Pretty much back to basics, but then it’s worth it! Maybe fancy flavors are not really my thing.
The interior is super cosy and it really accommodates people well. There’s also a swing! It’s like an indoor playground there. Well I hope they will have plans to expand their business as it’s always crowded.
Parking is not much a major issue here at night as the neighbouring shop lots are not very busy, except for weekends, when the Dim Sum restaurant next door extended their space during day time.
Overall it’s a good place for decent desserts :)

Many people come here for the ice cream, buy most people stay for the waffles. happen to be one of those people who stay. Guilty. Sorry not sorry.
Risking my intolerance to dairy, I just had to come to this place to try out their highly-​rated ice creams. Ice cream is priced at RM 7.80 per scoop, RM 12.80 for 2 and RM 17.80 for 3 luscious scoops. Add another RM 2 and you’ll have a cone. A little bit pricey, yes, but you’ll be wanting more, trust me.
My fiend got the Affogato (RM 10.90) which is basically a scoop of ice cream dunked into a cup brewing hot coffee. We shared waffles. Due to our indecisiveness, we had three scoops of ice cream to go with it. I wanted the Vanilla Bean and Dark Chocolate. Meanwhile, she got the Peanut Buttercup. I like the decadent flavors of the dark chocolate, also the vanilla notes in the vanilla are very on point. The peanut butter was heaven. I mean, what’s life without peanut butter? Very rich, but not overtly nauseatingly rich. Even had some chunky peanut butter bits as well. All this left me in a transcendent state of mind.
This place would be an awesome place to give yourself or anyone a treat. Be it being alone or good company, treat yo’ self!

I love inside scoop’s waffles and I’m not even a big fan of them! The waffles here are crispy on the outside and fluffy and soft on the inside which makes it extremely delectable. The ice cream here is slightly on the sweet side but when eaten with the waffle, is a match made in heaven!
So far I’ve tried their salted caramel and hazelnut which i love. I find the pricing here alright but not cheap. But since they make such yummy waffles, it’s definitely worth it. In addition to that, the staff here is always nice and friendly!
I also like how they decorated this outlet compared to the one in Bangsar! The interior is much more spacious and they even have a swing inside which is great for photos.

Deserts ! women’s favourite ! I have visited here for a few times and I will always crave for their durian flavour ice cream as their durian ice cream is so rich in durian taste ! To durian lovers you should really give a try ! They also serve waffles and coffee. I have try on their waffles and it was the nicest waffles that i have never tried ! their waffles is so crispy on the outer layer but it was so soft in the middle part ! Yum yum ! The environment of this restaurant is very chilling. They have bean bags to sit on and swing hanging on the ceiling with yellow lights and chilling songs. The workers are very friendly and nice that make me want to visit them more and more often !

I love ice-​cream, but I love Inside Scoop ice-​cream even more!
Unlike those typical ice-​cream shop like Baskin Robbin, Inside Scoop is much better I would say in terms of the options and their ice-​cream are not that sweet, but stronger taste in the flavour instead.
There are many special flavours that Inside Scoop is selling, for example pistachio, Valrhona chocolate, XO brandy soaked cranberries, peanut butter etc. Besides that, they also have the local flavours like Durian (MY FAVOURITE!!!), cendol, teh tarik, horlicks etc. If I have a friend travel to Malaysia, I will definitely bring them to Inside Scoop, as I would think it is an exclusive experience to try out Malaysia’s famous local delight in a different way! :)
Oh yes please try their waffles as well, super goooooood! :)

I’ve walked in here numerous times whenever the craving kicks in. Sometimes all you want to do is sit down and eat ice cream. Well… Inside scoop provides you that spot because they have a little area where you can sit and just devour your ice cream. Some ice cream lovers need to sit and focus on their task; which is ice cream eating. There’s a vast choices of fruit ice creams and milk ice creams you can select from and I heard that some of it is fat free so it’s OK to eat if you’re trying to cut down on your sugar level. Recommended for diabetic people simply because you can still get to enjoy eating yummy things like ice cream without worrying too much.

Premium ice-​cream anyone?
I was thankful that Inside Scoop opened another outlet at Damansara Jaya. It is much easier to find a parking spot here compared to Bangsar.
And after the horrible experience of dim sum for supper, Inside Scoop sweetened up that bitter experience.
The staff were friendly and patience with me as I was pretty indecisive on what flavor should I choose. They were helpful to assist with recommending their top flavours and allowing me to try them for a second time.
Finally when I had decided, they reminded me that there’s is an extra of RM1.50 for the premium flavours. I found that thoughtful of them.
The ice-​cream was lovely and their service was great. Although I couldn’t get a table to chill with my ice-​cream. I would come back again and again whenever I need to sweetened up my life.

HUGE fan of this place. Seeing as Bangsar is kind of my second home, I used to frequent their first outlet there almost once a week at times. They have now expanded to Damansara Jaya and even to Taipan in Subang. I love that instead of the usual varieties served by Haagen Dazs and Baskin Robbins, they chose to experiment with the flavours of local Malaysian treats such as Cendol and my favourite — Durian!
All you haters out there complaining about the strong smell of Durian ice cream, well fear not, they keep a lid on top of the Durian ice cream tub (you can still kind of smell its aroma in the store though). Do try a scoop of ice cream with their Belgian Waffles as well to complete the trip there.

«Burps» My respond after a good dinner with my friends. Surprisingly, one of them wanted to have desserts. I suggested we should go try this place where I heard so many of my friends telling me its good. We took a stroll down to Damansara Jaya, where Inside Scoop lies. By the café name itself, you can tell that it serves ice cream!

Even though it was 9pm, the place was packed. We had to wait outside for people to leave to get a seat. Took us long enough until we found one, next to the swing. What’s funny is that, could you imagine 4 guys sitting by the swing enjoying ice cream. My friend ordered the nutella ice cream for all of us to try. I haven’t tried nutella in my life before; it was my first time in the form of an ice cream.

The words that crossed my mind when I took the first bite were scrumptious, rich, cold, amazing and irresistible. I didn’t know Nutella taste so good. Even though I was full, I could still plunge the spoon of ice cream into my mouth! I left the place with a bloated stomach and a smile on my face. Definitely a must try!

I love ice cream! I Who doesn’t? I love to try out ice cream everywhere I go, but most of the time they were just disappointing.
My brother introduced me to Inside Scoop and he said the ice cream there were pretty kick-​ass. So, we went to the branch in Damansara Jaya. The place is very cosy, and the staffs were very friendly. They might not have 31 flavours like B&R but the flavours they have were quite interesting too.
We had their Pistachio Ice Cream, Valrhona Chocolate, and Rum & Raisins. My dad immediately went of the Rum & Raisins. It was a pity that B&R stops serving Rum & Raisins, but the ones at Inside Scoop was as equally good too. If you have a sweet tooth, this is definitely a must order. The Valrhona Chocolate was exactly what I’m looking for — bittersweet chocolate. I like chocolate ice cream but not the ones which are too sweet. Inside Scoop made it just right. The Pistachio ice cream was not too bad but I felt it was a little bit too sweet for my liking.
Overall, I like the place a lot. If I just had to comment on something, I think they could tone down the sweetness on some of their ice cream. Other than that, it was perfect.

I am getting married, yes, finally! So anyway, it is less than a month away that I will be taking my bridal photos in Penang. I am quite excited yet nervous. Excited because I will be putting on those lovely gowns that I was dreaming about all these years and nervous because my diet plan isn’t working at all!
Anyways, I decided to break my diet and headed for ice-​cream right after my dim sum at Jin Xuan in Damansara Jaya.
I must say Inside Scoop never disappoints me after having tried my first at their Bangsar outlet. Being a super big fan of Rum and Raisin (R&R), I was really disappointed that Häagen-​Dazs discontinued the flavour. They served the best R&R!
The R&R at Inside Scoop is equally awesome, though I didn’t try it today. I decided to have their best-​seller/​premium Valhorna chocolate and some mint flavour thing. It wasn’t my first time trying but I think I made a mistake by having the chocolate flavour on top and the mint flavour as base. Reason being the chocolate flavour was too overwhelming and I couldn’t taste much of the mint. I mean the staff should have known and done it properly right? :p
Overall, I am satisfied but I will be wiser next time in choosing the base flavour as it does matter!
As for the quality of the ice-​cream, I have no complaints at all. I am very picky with food and surely Inside Scoop is in my A-​list. Ok, second best ice-​cream in town, McD Vanilla Cone… should I head to the drive-​thru now? Yes, I should!
