Strip, The Curve

Had my first Brazilian here way back when. Haven’t been back since my erm, waxer left except on a couple of occasions over the last couple years where there were discounts and/​or vouchers involved. Too many young ‘uns now.
I kinda liked their old woody interior before they renovated and it now reminds me of a neighbourhood clinic. That, and I don’t like being pestered to buy their packages.

This place was the first time I got my waxing done — bikini area some more ok! No joke.
This place is quite popular and has many good reviews. So after bracing myself, I walked-​in the place thick faced. The consultant there first explained to me the type of services they perform, how it will be performed and also the price range. The staff there were super professional and fast too! They use hot chocolate to do their magic and its actually not that painful.
All in all, service was good and I was happy with the results. I will consider going back again if I ever need another round of waxing. Prices are a bit expensive, but for the services you get, I think its worth it!

Here is where I went for my virgin experience of waxing. Call me kampung girl, please. To be honest, I only know about what is waxing few months ago. I used to pass by Strip at The Curve when I worked nearby. And I always attracted by the orang utan soft toy outside Strip. However, I don’t know what is this shop doing, even I saw the phrase «Ministry of Waxing».
I went to Strip, The Curve when I was given vouchers to go experiencing waxing. I went without prior appointment and luckily they have an empty slot. In general, only girls will go for the waxing service, thus, there will not be any male staff there. Same go to Strip, The Curve. My waxing consultant first explained to me how the waxing will be done.
I was a little worry that it will be painful. But then, the pain level was less than what I thought. During the process, my therapist kept talking to me so that I didn’t focus on thinking when she will remove the wax. She didn’t give any prior notice telling me she will pull out the wax. But it was totally okay because that helped me not to notice and feel less painful.
Overall, I was satisfied with their service. My therapist gave me some advice on how to take care of my skin after waxing. Well, I bought their moisturizer, it was quite expensive but it can be used for a long period. If you would like to have waxing, do consider having it at Strip, The Curve. They provide excellent service.
