Uncle Chilli’S

Hmmm… not sure where to begin with this one. I’ve stayed at the PJ Hilton now 4 times, as it is close to our office in KL. Within walking distance, there is a dearth of bars, so I usually end up here at least once during my stay. On the plus, they have live music, usually a band from the Philippines that is usually half decent. They also have an extensive whiskey selection and draught Guiness so that’s another plus. But the place can get quite smoky and ordering drinks from the server can be hit or miss. Last night, I tried ordering from two different servers at two different times, and the order must have entered into a black hole, as I never got the drink. Tip — it may be best to order from the bartender. The one time I ordered food they were doing a promotion with a chef from Italy. The pasta dish was underwhelming. Overall, it’s not a bad place, considering there isn’t much nearby. But the service could definitely be better, as could be the ventilation.

My friend brought me into this place. He told me that this is the place that provides some good foods and some goods musics. Well, I had to try them all by myself. This place is located inside the PJ’s Hilton so it’s not too hard to find.
This is truly a place to chill but for me the live bands are good but not good enough. I expect a much better performance when you’re performing in Hilton. As for the food, I ordered a sirloin steak. The services were quite slow and the steak were quite salty. Other than that is good.
Well, this place is not like what I expected when my friend told me about this place.
