939 ABC Ice House

One of the best homemade dessert’s restaurant in Kuala Lumpur and Serdang so far!
I went to this particular «Ice House» for «ice-​rescue» due to super hot weather.
What is interesting with this restaurant (in fact, likewise to some other restaurants in Serdang), it is run in own’s house yard. It gives me a feeling of eating ice dessert in someone’s house, instead of a restaurant.
Parking is everywhere, is free.
When we went there, it was almost 3pm. However, nearly all seats are taken. This ice house is famous of its specialty in ice dessert. There are 8 selections such as Bobochacha, ABC, Mango Ice, Mixed Fruit Ice and many more! Each costs from RM4-​RM6. The portion is huge. We came in three pax and we ordered three bowls. We can hardly finish all except finishing all condiments. Icy and sweet, I believe that’s what you need for hot hot summer (weather).
For people craving for food apart from dessert, they sell steamed rice-​flour roll (zhu chang fen) too with many side dishes available. The price is surprising low! We ordered 2 rolls of rice-​floor plus 2 pieces of side dishes. It costs us only less than RM3! What is special about this is its unique taste of sauce. The sauce is a mix of curry and soy sauce (which I’m still trying to figure out the complete recipe) and it creates a striking balance between both tastes. Highly suitable for those that don’t fancy much curry, like me.
If you don’t mind non-​airconditioned dining area, this is perhaps my best suggestion for you to get delicious icy dessert at good price.
