Best Cendol Stall

It has become second nature that I get both the rojak and cendol whenever I’m here. The rojak and cendol stalls are usually conveniently located next to each other. The cendol is done just right. RIght amount of jelly, red bean, ice and santan. What is better than 5 star cendol? Having the 5 star cendol after a 5 star rojak meal. Trust me, they are perfect for each other. One two 5 star punch.

OMG! Malaysia has finally joined the Unilocal bandwagon. Looking through the list of restaurants and photos bring back a flood of childhood memories… but I digress.
Every native from Subang Jaya knows about this cendol stall. I grew up eating here, and I had friends who would stop by for a bowl every time they were nearby. Where else can you get amazing, authentic cendol for RM1.50 a bowl?! That’s less than $ 0.50! Despite the low price point, they are very generous with their toppings.
Their popularity is underscored by the perpetual line, but they work fast and I’ve never had to wait more than 20 minutes for my cendol fix. There’s a stall next to this where I sometimes pick up Malay snacks like curry puffs and nasi lemak while I’m in line. If you’re feeling a little hungry, go for the large bowl and add some pulut (sticky rice) to your order. The pulut is deliciously seasoned with pandan and will fill you right up!
Best Cendol Stall is truly deserving of their name and you would be remiss if you are ever in the area and do not stop by for a bowl.

I always ended in SS15 for the Rojak, but what can I say? Rojak and Cendol are a perfect match! They go well together, especially when the Rojak leaves you feeling warm on the inside and sweating on the outside.
Fortunately, the Cendol van is strategically parked one or two stalls down from the Rojak stand for anyone who needs something refreshing to quench their thirst.
You can add some pulut (glutinous rice) in it if you’d prefer your cendol that way. I personally like having my kidney red beans to go with it and they are pretty generous with it.
This local beverage is a little on the sweet side for me, but it still good and refreshing. It is still one of the few good ones in the Klang Valley.

If you stay in ss15, you must have heard of this stall by now. Though I stay far away from this place, I would visit with my bro just to give it a try. The hype was real when we arrived the queue looks longer than the San Francisco bridge: p
It took us about ¹⁵⁄₂₀ minutes till is our turn. I went for the ABC, and the price was really reasonable. When I gave it my first bite, it was really cooling and crunchy. It was not too sweet but just nice. One of the best ABC i tried around town!
Yes guys if I am willing to travel to try this out and say its a good dessert, I really mean it!

Cendol is our ice cream version or ice-​blended drink here in Malaysia. And if you’re in Subang Jaya, particularly in ss15 and it’s like super hot day and you want a cold drink. Well do consider getting a Cendol instead of a 100plus!
On the street of ss15/​3b there’s a Cendol stall same row as the famous Rojak mamak, that Cendol Stall is the best Cendol ever. They can make the normal Cendol, Cendol pulut or ABC. You tell him you want small or big, they can do. He uses the machine to shave the eyes and add the Cendol with grass jelly, cincau, red beans and add Gula melaka as well. All these can be done in less than 20second. That’s fast!
I was like sweating from walking around ss15, got myself a bowl of Cendol and walked away satisfied. Prices are rm1.80 for normal size, larger size is rm2.80 which is just a ringgit extra. And that beats your cold soda drink anytime. So go get yourself a Cendol on this hot sunny day!

I can’t help it whenever I am in SS15 to pay a visit to the Best Cendol stall in SS15. Usually, there is a long queue waiting to get a bowl of cendol.
My favourite is their cendol pulut, rice balls inside the cendol. AMAZING. Their cendol isn’t very sweet, just right. I would usually have a bowl of cendol after having the pasembur rojak next door.
This is by far the best cendol I have ever had in the whole Klang Valley and Kuala Lumpur.
Must try and must have more!
