One of the best fried chickens in Selangor!!! I love how crispy the skin is and how tender the meat is inside. Sorry KFC but I think LFC just kicked your ass. The sambal is also really good.

Try to avoid peak hours as it’s super crowded and the staff will prolly miss or make mistakes in your order. But this is the place for me to get my fried chicken + egg + vege in spicy sauce fix at a no frills location for a decent price. If you’re a rice lover, they’re generous with the portion. They must’ve added some ganja in the chicken because one doesn’t seem enough. :p

4-Stars for the big portion and yummy fried chicken — pretty straight forward. To be fair, I have to say that if you’re at Lim Fried Chicken, you would realize that the crowd is mostly college guys, and it’s how it made itself popular in fact! They started as a stall in a coffee shop in SS14, and expanded their business at their newer shop now as their business at the stall previously got too overwhelming. This of course isn’t for no good reason — and you might have already guessed it, when your food is being served in an area that is saturated with college kids, you have to make sure that your food is affordable and at the same time really make some tummies happy. So, be ready for the big plate of rice with generous serving of dishes when you’re here. The shop itself is very humble environment wise — so please do not expect some extravagant setting, we all come here for fried chicken. But, good thing is they still have air conditioners indoor, so it’s still overall a pleasant place to be dining at. And, for RM8−10 you could get a portion of meal that most girls can’t finish(some can), you wouldn’t really complain about other things. For someone like me who do not stay too near to the Sunway neighborhood, now I have one more reason to come here more often.

If there’s one thing malaysians can’t resist, it’s a good piece of fresh from the wok fried chicken. Lim Fried Chicken stall is located inside Wong Soon Kee that houses a few hawker stalls. They only open for business from 1pm onwards so you’ll have to get your timing right if you want to catch them. They have a big bucket of marinated chicken ready to be fried in the hot wok so while you’re queuing up for your food, you’ll be anticipating the fresh piece of chicken on your plate. What’s unique is the chicken goes together with rice, vegetables and some kick ass spicy sambal which makes it almost similar to nasi lemak except the rice isn’t coconut rice so that’s one less thing to feel guilty about. I would suggest eating it there and then as I’ve packed it home before and it just isn’t the same as the chicken will get soggy. The business is doing really well and have gained popularity that they’ve got their own website and plastic bag with their logo on it! It’s usually not a very long wait to get your fried chicken but a queue will start to form as soon as they open for business.

If you’re looking for quality fried chicken which isn’t from a fast food chain, this is definitely the place you should go to. This restaurant is located in SS15 which is just a 7 minute walk from the Taylors Subang College as well as INTI College. The restaurant also serves another variety of dishes apart from their famous fried chicken. The best part is, the price range is very affordable and the food is delicious. My favorite has to be the LFC(lim fried chicken) drumstick + rice + vege combo. Not only is the fried chicken drumstick big but is it also juicy and fried to perfection as the batter on the outer layer of the chicken retains the moisture on the inside. The combo also comes with sweet sambal which I normally wouldn’t be a fan of but this one really goes well with the fried chicken, rice and vege. The service here is good and the food takes a moderate amount of time to arrive which I have no problem with.

You may have heard of the infamous porno chicken/KJFC from Klang or the ayam bakar at Taman Jaya, but have you heard of the Subang Jaya’s Lim’s Fried Chicken? And what is so special about this fried chicken? Well, ever wanted to eat a chicken that the skin is crispy and the meat is tender and Juicy? I present to you Lim’s Fried Chicken! This is Subang Jaya’s legendary, our very own KFC version. Uncle Lim who has been operating since 1993 had been making the same fried chicken and all the people of Subang Jaya love it! The smell of the fried chicken is truly tempting, like as if you could taste it with your mouth. That is because it’s fresh made. The chicken can be ordered ala carte style or you can have it with rice along with some vegetables and the sambal sauce just like a nasi lemak. The sambal sauce has a unique taste, it’s not very spicy but it is sweet and great to have it with the chicken. A nasi lemak meal with the chicken can cost about rm8– rm9. You could also opt to have it with chee cheong fun instead of rice and change the sauce to curry or other variety. I admit at first I was a little skeptical that a chicken like that is actually better than KFC, the place was not so high standard but an old corner restaurant in ss14. But when I was convinced by my friends to go try it, it was the best decision of my life! It’s like I’ve just received salvation again! Go try it, people! If you are on diet… don’t be on diet! If you hate chickens, this will change your mind! If you love chickens, great! Subang Jaya is not far… for some. But hey, anyone travels no matter what the distance is as long as the food is awesome, correct or not? If you can travel to Penang for food, Subang Jaya is just on the way only! haha Their original stall is in ss14/1 in the restorant called Wong Soon Kee which usually operates during the day time roughly from 2pm tll 5pm. But this outlet branch is open from 10am — 9.30pm. So come and get it!
