This escape room type activity really tests your problem-solving, cognitive thinking and IQ skills. I went with friends that have had experience with places like these, so I felt a little less anxious. Small and dark places make me feel uneasy. Each room has its own level of difficulty, we picked the room that was somewhere in the middle in terms of difficulty. So here’s how it goes, each room is broken up into different section, each section has clues and riddles you have to solve to locate a key, the key is then used to unlock a door leading you to the next section. There are a total of 3 – 4 sections per room, the unlocking the door at the last section of the room is the key to your escape. Sound interesting right? Yes it is, but it can be rather frustrating too. You need a minimum of four people to participate in this game, which means you have four different brains thinking and problem solving at the same time in some cases this may not be a good thing. I admit that there are times where I find myself blanked out in the middle of solving a puzzle. Our team working capabilities were put to test, we appointed a leader and we went from there. Throughout the whole game you are allowed 3 bonus clues and we used up all of them during the second section when all we had to do was throw a weight into a bucket. Your truly threw a spoon, a spoon that was vital to solving a then later puzzle and I threw it. I was lucky that my friends we more level headed than I was, by the end of the game I was still scratching me head trying to figure out how they managed to solve some of the puzzles and riddles. I did have fun though, I can imagine having like a team building activity here with my colleagues.
