Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre

I’ve only been to Sunway Convention Hall once. It was during my sister’s graduation day. I bet the reason her university choose to have their graduation ceremony here in Sunway Convention Hall was because it is huge enough to house all their students and their family members. The hall were separated into two sections. One section is for the graduation ceremony and the other is for graduation photo taking.
My memories of that place was, people’s everywhere and super long queue to the photo booth even when there’s so many of them set up across the hall.
Nevertheless, I find that this convention hall is a great venue for event like this as it is huge enough to house hundreds of people. Besides graduation, this place can be used for event such as business convention, company annual dinner, expo and even wedding dinner too (especially for those with big family and networks which require a large hall to fit everyone in).

My company was having Annual Dinner for employees here last year. As usual, there will be some performance for that night and rehearsal is needed.
SPCC organizer is kind enough to allow us to be at here for performance and sound system dry run since early morning. Not only that, we also provided with few rooms from Sunway Hotel for us to rest and change for that night. The hotel was just nearby where can be reach in walking distance. In short, its convenient and do help us to save up a lots of time. We really enjoy the great time there. At the end of the night, we are given debate for the parking ticket too.
It’s advisable for you to park at CP3 and CP4 which is nearer to SPCC. Otherwise, you might need to wait for your turn to take lift and walk for very long distance to reach here.

I have experienced so many venues hosting ACG (Animé, cosplay and games) whereby the staff are rude and assume that just because an event involves costumed individuals they are definitely children and proceed to disrespect everyone. SPCC however, has always maintained a very professional and kind approach to any event goers whether it’s a serious corporate thingee or hobby/​concert related.
None of the staff have ever overruled or messed up the plans of the organizers, which i have observed in places like KL Convention Centre. Instead they respectfully give full autonomy to their visitors and provide whatever service they can. For example, they provide catering (even simple tea/​coffee or water) to event visitors if necessary. I really respect their level of hospitality and professionalism.
The event space itself is fully carpeted and very spacious, with long bay windows that let in plenty of natural light, which is good for photography.
