I would give zero stars if possible. They will take your money cancel your trip and not give you a refund. You will be sitting there waiting for them and they just don’t show up. No call, nothing.

Consistently disappointing and frustrating. We’ve used them three years in a row – against our better judgment – at the insistence of our travel agent. (We’ve learned the hard way to advocate for ourselves more strongly with her…)
The staff at Lomas are overly aggressive with their excursion sells, relentless with their early morning phone calls to book the return trip and, this last time, completely screwed up our reservation to the point where we were at risk of missing our flight home and had to take a taxi. Neither the driver nor the staff member were apologetic regarding their mistake and the driver was even rude. After over an hour of trying to sort out their mistake the staff person finally agreed, albeit begrudgingly, to pay for our cab. We will never, under any circumstances, use this company again, and would encourage others to look elsewhere as well.

I scheduled two excursions with Luis at the El Dorado Maroma location. We had a great time and the shuttles were on time as indicated by Luis. I recommend booking with them, but just always keep in mind that when booking with a group, the pick up time is pretty accurate, but getting back to your resort is dependent on which other groups are with you and how many stops you have to make. That said, we were dropped off as indicated.

The absolute worst company ever. I should have done my research before hand because they came up as fraudulent company through my bank. Luckily, I was able to prevent them from ripping me off. However, that did not stop a disgruntled agent following me to my hotel room aggressively yelling at me because I declined booking an excursion through them. If traveling out of the United States, there is a company called, nexus travel, the best best best!!!

Lomas Travel was scheduled by the travel agent for transfers to and from airport. Arriving in Cancun we had to wait outside in the heat about an hour before a shuttle was ready to get us to the resort. There seemed to be confusion and disorganization at the airport stand. Once we got going the driver was friendly and very courteous. Upon departure, I had to make about 4 trips to the travel desk and a couple of phone calls to get scheduled for pickup and feel confident I would make it to the airport on time. Several hotel employees expressed concern for the short amount of time scheduled between pickup and my flight. The driver did show up promptly and got me to the airport but with little time to spare. If security lines had been long it would have been a close call. Driver was very nice and courteous!

I used Lomas Travel to transfer from Cancun airport to my hotel in Playa del Carmen and then return on my way home. They had our group mixed up and had trouble finding our reservations on the way to the hotel. They figured it out and I had an uneventful 45 min ride to my hotel. However, on the return, I was picked up on time, but my driver was falling asleep at the wheel! It was so scary, he was bobbing his head up and down and eyes kept rolling back asleep! It went on for a while until we finally yelled at him. He just smiled and said «10 more mins»! I was never so happy to get out of a car before! I would not recommend this service for transfers to/​from Cancun!

Used Lomas for transfers from the Cancun Airport to our hotel and it was great. Very clean, modern and safe. Totally enjoyed the experience.
I would also like to give some cred to Roberto, one of the Lomas Travel agents in Cancun. We booked an evening excursion with Roberto and paid in full. On the night of the excursion, we got car sick on the ride to our excursion. We were safely delivered back to our hotel and ended up sleeping it off in the hotel room. Now you may think it was alcohol induced but I can say without a doubt that that was not the case. It was legitimate car sickness. Anywho, we worked with Roberto who gave us our full refund in a professional and caring manner. We didn’t have enough time to book another excursion with Roberto on our vacation but if we are ever back in Cancun we will definitely look him up.

I signed up to have my parents picked up from The airport and taken to their hotel and they were very happy with this company. They were on time and very easy to deal with. I actually signed up too late to do it online (they require you to sign up at least two days in advance) but I used the online chat to speak with a very nice man (Daniel Ruiz) who went above and beyond what I expected him to do. He put them in for same day service and my parents were very happy. They had to do the shared shuttle but the trip from the airport to the hotel still only took 30 minutes. (Round trip costs $ 50) Will definitely be using them when I’m in town!
