Had nachos and a couple of margaritas. The drinks were«ok» not quite strong enough but the chicken on our nachos was actually really good. Best part was the music. Very talented. Great spot to hang out and pass the time.

This place is cool to see some live classic rock. Definitely a lot better for an older crowd then say going to Squid Roe. Drinks are overpriced. Our party got kicked out for a total misunderstanding. The bouncers didn’t even want to hear it, my guess is because we were all American. Not sure I would come back here. Maybe for the live music.

Sooo, if you go, to Cabo, ya gotta go to Cabo Wabo. It’s just a rule. Yes, it’s touristy and overpriced. No, you can’t carry on a conversation without screaming in your friend’s ear. Yes, you might get groped by a drunk plastic surgeon or a cougar. But you can dance your ass off and see the funniest shit ever. The band is usually good, although on one occasion the drummer was hopped up on something and playing about 25% faster than normal, so every song sounded like the chipmunks. But hey. If you’re coming to San Lucas to party, this is a must stop. We’ve learned to do our drinking before and after we stop here, we once got charged $ 50 for a bucket of 5 Coronas. Haha, just like Australia!

These guys prey on American consumers who don’t know what a peso is worth. At the bar last Saturday they rounded up to a ridiculous amount thinking we didn’t know the deal. This really set a negative tone for my evening there. Tequila drinks were overpriced and subpar. This has nothing to do with my score, but I could care less for the dated music they are playing. Hopefully everyone that is into«Old Time Rock and Roll» kicks the bucket soon and this place goes out of business. Also Van Hagar sucks. David Lee Roth forever.

Love Cabo Wabo everytime. It’s always a blast. The drinks are top notch and the Tequila Blanco is a great price and smooth for shots! Amazing nightlife.

First off service sucks. The only good thing was the cheeseburger. Next time I will just stick to eating tacos from the taco stand, better service and prices…

Great Waboritas and the Waiters were wonderful. Chris and our other waiter were so helpful in teaching me Spanish! The fish tacos are a must order so tasty and the chicken nachos were perfect treat! 3 rounds of tequila so we could test each level and Blanco was as smooth as can be! Taking some back home! Highly recommend the café section. The bad was a disappointment since the three in our party are all music lovers and they failed to impress or even so much as be fun. So Sad.

This review is solely for their food and happy hour. We came to watch the first half of the Warriors game and left. The service was slow even when the outdoor bar was not quite busy. Their live band is amazingly good. Their food wasn’t all that, but decent enough to finish. The nachos was stacked and the fish tacos were alright. The tvs are small but it gets the job done. The club inside is lit up and looks like it gets crackin’ during late night hours. The restaurant in the front is more relaxing and does not have tvs. The bathrooms are tiny but clean. This place was probably the most expensive and we didn’t order that much. We didn’t come back during the night which I wish we would’ve to experience it.

Great 80’s drinking fun in Mexico! Flash back to high school! Very strong drinks and a bit pricey but it is a tourist spot so that is a given.

Omg, 2 for 1 margaritas! And they were great margaritas at that. I just ordered the house ones, I can only imagine what the premium ones were like. We also ordered a burrito to share and that was also really good. The prices were meh, we were expecting cheaper prices since we were in Mexico. And the bathrooms smelled horrible. I don’t know if it was because of the Mexican plumbing but just be prepared. And also it would’ve been nice to have a/c since it’s so hot in Cabo.

The first thing I noticed when I went in was that it looked like every American in Baja over 40 years in age was also in the place. I guess it makes sense since the music they play is from the 70’s and 80’s. If that’s your preferred listening choice, you’ll be pretty happy here. There were lots of cougars too, which made for some interesting people watching. The music is really, really, really freakin’ loud. I don’t mind loud, but this place was loud beyond any sane reason. The place itself is fine, with plenty of seating and a good staff, but the sound is just too loud. You really can’t hear the people at your table unless they’re shouting in your ear. When the band came on to play, they actually were quieter than the regular music that plays when there’s no live music. I feel bad for the people that work there and the hearing loss that they’re going to experience later on in their lives. Beer and tequila were expensive, but I guess that shouldn’t have been a surprise to me considering that the place is ground zero for Cabo tourism. Prices on the mixed drinks were a complete rip-off. Stick to the beer and you’ll be okay. It was okay to visit the place once, but I seriously doubt I’ll go back if we’re in town again.

Bean & cheese burrito is legit. Melted cheese, grilled tortilla, and the avocado sauce is the perfect partner in crime. Recommend!

We saw reviews for Cabo Wabo all over Cabo. We just had to go for these margaritas. We went to the top restaurant and ordered the happy hour margaritas and chicken quesadillas. The margaritas were just average. Truly nothing to write home about. I thought that the quesadillas were flavorful. We were actually still hungry after splitting the quesadillas so we ordered chips and dips that we saw other customers with(they were not on the menu). I loved the salsa. Hot and spicy the way I like it. But I did not think that they should be priced the same as the quesadillas. We were wondering what all the hype was for. And then we left out a different way and stumbled upon the club and outside bar downstairs. It looked like the menu was more extensive and probably more fun in that area. Next time I’m in Cabo to party I’ll check it out At night.

For those who do not know, Cabo Wabo was founded by Sammy Hagar. Had the opportunity to drop by during our last visit to Cabo San Lucas. It was lunchtime, but I wanted to eat elsewhere. If I could do it all over, I would have eaten here instead. Oh well, there is always next time. Although we did not eat here, I did get a chance to do a bit of exploring. Everyone there was dining outside. The inside was dark, but I did spot a stage where the performances must happen. They also had a souvenir shop filled wth all kinds of t-shirts, paraphernalia, and other cool stuff. Bottom line is Cabo Wabo is a nice place to check out. Will be trying their food next time.

Total tourist trap. Yes, if you just want to visit the place and order light foods, they will seat you towards the back, next to the smelly bathrooms. The only upside? Charging you over $ 3 in USD for a bottled water. Oh never mind, that can’t be the upside. As for the beer choices? No Modelo Negro, only Especial. The famous fish tacos here? You can do better else where. Where is Sammy Hagar because I’m a total fan of his tequila? But I am certainly not a fan of this place.

The Cantina is much smaller than you’d expect. Prices and food are decent, but not spectacular. We spent $ 80USD for lunch(prior to tip), which included shrimp ceviche, chicken quesadilla, waburrito, flan, two wabojitos, and two beers(but 2-for-1 happy hour meant four beers). So, it was quite a bit of money, but it was also quite a bit of food. Ceviche was good, but watch out you don’t bite into a serrano pepper! My quesadilla was just ok. Very plain. My boyfriend’s waburrito was good. It was smothered in a nice, creamy red sauce. Strangely, the sauce tasted like it would go well on pasta, so it wasn’t super mexican-tasting, but it wasn’t bad on the burrito. The flan was good, and big, but not quite as good as we remembered it from two years ago. My mojitos were great. Could hardly taste the alcohol, but I could feel it! You might walk right past this place, cause it’s inside and upstairs from a patio area on the corner selling souvenirs. It’s across the street from the Giggling Marlin.

I remembered I came here 6 years ago and it was always packed… Now it’s not that packed anymore. Cabo in general isn’t that packed probably due to renovations still continuing due to last years hurricane. Cabo wabo is a good place to go pee and visit the famous rocker hall of fame who made it all happened. It’s like tribute. Other than that the place is overpriced Americanized Mexican fusion you can get in the states for cheaper and better. Drinks, even in the 2 for one deal HH is expensive. We came and had 2 for 1 shots, and 2 for 1 mojitos and chicken wings for a whooping $ 40!(Damn) should have taken that money and run across the street for $ 1.50 tacos. But like I said, Great place to use the restroom especially being able to drink on the streets all day long

Nothing too cool here. The first night we walked in on a Friday night and it was dead. I think we may have been the only homies inside, but then again it was only 10pm. So we just peed and left haha. The second time we rolled through we needed to pee and get some wifi. So this time we stopped and peed, then decided to have a twofer — tequila shot and cucumber mojito. The drinks were delicious and strong! We also got the wings as a breakfast appetizer before Tacos Guss! The wings were actually really juicy and flavorful. They were dressed in a spicy sweet chili sauce and deep fried. I liked them very much. I don’t mean to sound so negative about Cabo Wabo. It is really cool that Sammy started such a cool bar/brand. However, it’s not as cool as it sounds once you get there. I like the hole in the wall Mexican food joints and taco stands, so that I can really taste Cabo, and eat as they do. That’s what it’s about. But yes, I’m secretly glad I can say I’ve been to Cabo Wabo. Haha. Peace.

So your down in Cabo San Lucas drinking the fruity foo foo drinks, hitting the beaches, buying cheap souvenir T-shirts and you hear or heard of this place named Cabo Wabo. Cabo Wabo? Yes the place Sammy Hagar from Van Halen started back in 1990 that also includes the same titled signature tequila. A Cabo trip isn’t complete unless we poke our head in just so we can tell friends and family YES we’ve been there. I can’t speak at all for the drinking, music, or nightlife as me and wifey went there after opening around 10:00 for a quick snack and to peek our curiosities. So this review will pertain only to what I ate and my experience in the restaurant area upstairs. I order Sammys Shrimp and thought the quantity was insufficient and was way overpriced. Wifey ordered quesadillas, we both had appetizers and bill was over $ 38 U.S. We didn’t order any entrees and just water. The shrimp tasted awesome though! But felt like I could have got more down the street for a fraction of the price. The menu online does not represent the menu they give you in the restaurant. The prices are grossly misrepresented as they are inflated inside the establishment. The big negative is no wifi upstairs where we ate! It’s 2015 and freakin Mcdonalds down the street has wifi. I had to go all the way downstairs and leave out their other entrances just to check in. We had great service, fast, friendly and prompt. I’m sure the nightlife is a blast along with the drinking experience, will have to definitely check it out later at night. But as far as an early meal, I wouldn’t come back again as it is way overpriced and portions are small, check out the place downstairs at Marichi Plaza next to the bar, we had a big ass lunch and it was great for under $ 20.
