If you love coffee and art, you must visit this place! Your first experience will be to climb the super cool spiral staircase to the upstairs art gallery. You will then be overwhelmed with the beautiful colors and art pieces all over the walls. Most likely, Guillermo («Memo» as he likes to be called) will greet you and begin to tell you all about his favorite Mexican artist, Remedios Varo. He will then make you a cup of delicious coffee while reading to you the stories behind her paintings which are fascinating. And if you ask, he will tell you about the best local places to eat that the other tourists do not know about. We asked. We were not disappointed. Love this place!

A great shop offering a large selection of unique and unusual metal art, Remedios Varo prints and other local or Mexican art. If you are looking for something special, just ask — they also do custom work. They have a full coffee and tea bar, as well. Ask for Memo, the store owner, and he will take great care of you!

Hands down one of the best art houses I’ve visited anywhere. They have an incredible collection of local, handmade metal art, without any of the fake imported stuff. The owner, Memo, and his store manager Kenya both speak perfect English and are quite helpful when it comes to selecting the right piece.
Another thing I like about this shop is that they can accommodate all price ranges, and make everyone feel welcome regardless of how much they’re spending. One last thing, don’t forget to order an espresso drink too!
