Jugos la Fuenta

We wanted a good smoothie and were determined to find one. And find one we did on Avenida Macheros at the NE corner of Calle 2^nd. Introducing Jugos La Fuenta, or The Juice Fountain. This one is close enough for the cruise ship people to walk to.
They have all kinds of fruits and some vegetables waiting for your selection. The superfast smoothie dude will bark out «what else?» and you can point to or say the name of mango, orange, banana, pineapple, apple, pear, cantalope, spinach, cactus and others.
The grande is about $ 2.50 or 36 pesos, and is served in the large size KFC cup, which is 25 oz or so. We came back the next day it was so good !!! I hate spending about $ 8 at Whole Foods Market for the same thing, but $ 2.50 is muy bueno.
They have a Mexican-​style drive thru where people park at the curb and order from their car. They make sandwiches also.
