Hostel Suites DF

I’ve stayed at many Hostels and this is by far one of the BEST!!! We booked through Hostelworld and got a private room that fits 4 people (we only had 3). Prior to our arrival, they emailed us to confirm reservations which is always nice so there are no surprises! Finding the hostel was also a breeze as it is located right in the city center (to me, its more like the financial district). Short walk to the Arch, the Centro area where all the night life and shopping is. There are numerous street markets in the area so there are no shortages of places to eat!
The day we arrived, they were having a event in their 2^nd floor terrace area (BBQ and DJ). Of course, being the social butterfly that we are, we made sure to attend the event. But first, we checked in, and arrived to our room which was super clean and colorful. There was a full size/​queen bed and a bunch bed which worked out perfect because it was me, my husband and a friend. We also have our own private bathroom with a shower. Our windows faced the 2^nd floor terrace so we were sure if there would be a noise problem, which there weren’t.
They clean and make your bed here everyday, which is nice. So if you may want to try and keep your stuff in a orderly manner if you don’t want them touching your belongings.
The free breakfast were pretty basic, extremely basic, but when you’re a backpacker on a budget, you don’t complain about it. Some mornings there were fruit, toast and tortilla filled with something. If you’re still hungry, you can always go next door to Capriochito Mio and spend $ 36 pesos for a nice 2 egg omelete with 1 choice of filling and toast! Super cheap!
We met MANY friends at this hostel and got to hang out with them every day. We eve hung out with Fernando, one of the staff members here, who took us on a tour of Coyoacan. It was amazing!
They also sell beer here and there’s a vending machine with sodas and water. All very affordable. The Wifi, like many have said, are very wonky but if you have Tmobile like I do, data service isn’t really an issue.
On our last day here, one of the cleaning staff (older lady who spoke very little english) asked how we enjoyed our stay and said we are welcomed back any time! What a nice group of staff members here!

My partner and I had a lovely week at Hostel Suites DF. We visited DF for EDC 2014 and the whole experience was awesome. The staff were very friendly and quick to help out with any issue. They are very knowledgeable of the area and being right in the middle of everything. Walking is very convenient or take the metro hidalgo (which is about a 2 blocks away) if you need to excursion into a different area. Our room had its own queen bed with bathroom/​shower. It came in handy when waking up or those long nights from being out. Overall we had a wonderful experience and would visit this hostel again in the future. Thanks for the great memories!!! :-)

Hostel Suites DF es un hostal pequeño en tamaño pero grande si de amenidad y buena vibra se trata. Las personas que trabajan en el son extremadamente amables y alegres. El lugar es un pequeño edificio color ladrillo que se asoma en una calle algo escondida apenas a una cuadra de Paseo de la Reforma y el Monumento a la Revolución, lo cual garantiza una ubicación privilegiada, con una vista panorámica al corredor Juárez.
Los precios, muy accesibles para aquellos viajeros que no tienen el presupuesto para optar por una habitación de hotel. La cama tiene un costo de 180 pesos por noche, y una habitación privada doble tiene un costo de 400 pesos la noche. Si deseas televisión hay que sumar 100 pesos adicionales.
El servicio de wifi esta presente en todas las instalaciones, cuentan con desayuno continental y áreas publicas con sillones, algunas computadoras y una televisión para esos momentos de ocio o interaccion con los otros huéspedes. En mi breve estancia pude percatarme que la gente que se queda en este hostal suele ser bastante jove. Puede ser una buena opción si visitas la Ciudad de México o tienes ganas de pasar la noche cerca del Centro Histórico para evitar los alcoholímetros.

Un día fui a visitar a una amiga que vive justo a un lado del Hotel Gran Plaza Revolución. Enfrente, había un «hostel» que obvio llamó mi atención por su colorido naranja y además su estilo rústico. Pregunté a mi amiga que de qué se trataba y me comentó, que hace unos años se ocupada este tipo de «hotel» como alternativa de hospedaje ya que era mucho más barato y además la estancia no es tan larga como parece.
Mi curiosidad creció más a partir de lo que me dijo mi amiga, así que entre para saber un poco más sobre este servicio, al ingresar me encontré efectivamente con muebles rústicos y haciendo hincapié a la hermosa fachada sencilla, pero muy acogedora. Mi sorpresa fue aún mayor cuando pregunté por los precios de una sola noche… y su costo por una habitación doble es de $ 413 pesos para 4 personas. Ósea que si vas con tus amigos les toca por cabeza $ 100 pesos aproximadamente.
Puedes pasar una linda noche por el monumento a la Revolución, «turistear» un rato y atreverte a vivir una aventura en este tipo de estancias muy familiares.
