We ordered the fish filet. Perfectly fresh and cooked to perfection. Both coco curry and lightly seasoned were delicious. The staff was friendly and the service good. They were very nice and let me substitute curried vegetables for the usual rice and beans. Drinks were very good, generous, and served in huge stemmed glasses. They also have great rustic pottery plates and tablecloths. Complementary shots of tequila drinks before and after the meal. A step above many of the places along the Malecon. Unilocal’s map is incorrect: the restaurant has tables on the Malecon, inside and looking out over the Malecon, plus tables out their back door in the garden behind Café Karlita. They are two doors south of Café Karlita.

Excellent food and better service. He did a tequila tasting for me at no extra charge and so I came back the next day for a mezcal tasting. One of my personal favorite dining experiences.

Great food and wonderful service. We were only able to go once, but it is well worth the dinner. Also, a really large selection of tequilas!
