JJs is a perfect example of the adage«if it ain’t broke don’t fix it «. I liked it when it was a small, quaint and kitschy taco stand. The latest iteration /location has lost its character.

Great food– friendly staff– good prices. On the weekend nights, when they have live music, the place is loud and packed but still fun. If you order the grande burrito you will find one is big enough for two persons.

My favorite restaurant/bar in San Carlos:). JJ meets us at the door with hugs and our favorite cerveza. Good food, fair prices, good service, and honest friendly place. Tuesday nights is a great place to listen to Manulito and dance the evening away.

Terrible food. Warm drinks. The bill is scribbled on a piece of scrap paper by the owner and you never get to review it. Keep you hand on your wallet.

Good food and atmosphere. However, contrary to other posts, been to JJ’s many times and JJ has never said a word other than to take our order.

Very good restaurant set inside a giant new palapa. Reasonable prices, friendly staff and JJ is fun to meet. Live music some nights. Good menu with a few local novelties.

A San Carlos staple not to be missed. JJ is the nicest host ever and everything on the menu is awesome. You haven’t experienced a «Big Donkey» till you have one here.
