Absolutely one of the best kept secrets in TJ! This small, street-​side restaurant has some of the finest original dishes. Daily specials and bargain prices demand your visit! It’s a weekly lunch stop for me. Thanks Omar!

So this place has been quite popular amongst tourists crossing the border and trying to experience authentic mexican food. Even though it’s small and can’t accommodate a large crowd, I think that only adds to the charm of the place.
They have all sorts of traditional dishes in here, like flautas, tacos, tortas, etc. The cool thing about this place si that they make all of their tortillas in the house. They have tons of salsas and condiments. Don’t worry, if you’re not a fan of spicy sauces, they have some that aren’t as hot.
It’s cool to come here because you really feel like you’re eating at a house. Everything tastes so home made and people working here are super friendly and personable. I would recommend this place for anyone to try out at least once. You can get some prime people watching time here while you eat some delicious food.

Este lugar pequeñito llama la atención por sus mesas en la acera y por qué aunque es pequeño ya se ha convertido en un lugar muy visitado tanto por locales como por americanos que les gustan disgustar de una sabrosa comida casera.
Sus flautas, tacos de tortilla de maíz hecha a mano y sus burritos de varios guisados preparados diariamente se han convertido en los clásicos de los comensales de este lugar. Estos ricos guisados se les pueden acompañar por sus salsas varias y claro por sus aguas tradicionales hechas a base de fruta natural.
La atención es personalizada y en resalta la atención y el buen servicio. Ya sea que este atendida por su dueño o por la encargada estos guisos están para chuparse los dedos.
En cuento a los precios se puede decir que es económica, las porciones son grandes y los precios son bajos.

Food was ok; however owner really tried to please us by running to store and getting items that they had ran out of plus he gave my dd and me the avocado he claimed was for his personal use. The one thing that I noticed was that hygiene is an issue here. They ran to get some cabbage and started chopping without washing it and put it on our sopes. Very unrelated to this issue, we found out my dd had paratyphoid (aka…salmonella) that same evening due to 3 prior months of digestive problems so please wash your hands and make sure fruits and veggies are washed with disinfectant.
Once more time, salmonella not related to this food stand but be aware of hygiene issues.
Another issue is that people go by smoking all the time and I just can’t stand that.
La comida esta bien y el dueno se esmero por complacernos solo que pienso que falta hygiene. Fueron a traer col (repollo) para nuestros sopes y no la lavaron.
Esa misma noche, NO realacionado a este puesto, nos enteramos que mi hija que ya estaba sufriendo de problemas digestivos desde hace 3 meses, tenia paratifico b (salmonella) .
Una vez mas, el problema de mi hija no esta relacionado con este puesto de comida pero piensen bien en hygiene en general.
Otro detalle es que como uno esta sentado en la calle, pasan fumando y la verdad molesta mucho.

This little restaurant is amazing! Not the typical taco stand you find in tj. They do have tacos, but the rest of the food is unique and delicious. In short, it is what I would imagine, if I had a Mexican grandma and went to her house for an amazing home cooked meal.

Ufffff! Delicioso! Los mejores tacos y guisos que he probado! Las tortillas son recién hechas y los guisos insisto que parecen de cocina «Gourmet» No hay nada igual!!! El precio súper bien, no esta nada caro :) Además excelente servicio. ME ENCANTA!
The best tacos in TJ! Cant miss them if you are in Tijuana. The dishes are so good that they look and taste like «Gourmet» style. Great prices! and great service: D LOVE THE PLACE!!!

Found this little hole in the wall in TJ. Not traditional food that you find in TJ.
They have a wide variety of meats dishes mixed different ways.
I ate the Chicken Mole and it was great. hand made tortillas in front of you small salsa bar and amazing service.
If you want a nice place to eat that steps out of the traditional boring TJ food this is the bomb.
