Kids really enjoyed the décor and salsa bar, plus they serve bottled Fanta! IMHO steak tacos were only variety that stood out, chicken was average and fish passable. Guacamole was above average, service was fast and that means a lot when traveling as a family. Drinks were weak but that’s something I’ve come to expect throughout Mexico. We had lunch there twice in a week so quite respectable, there are lots of options for dinner I’d prefer on Carretera Boca

Maybe I’m spoiled because I live in LA and there’s no shortage of amazing tacos that are inexpensive. The tacos were fine. But for two of us(3 tacos each, side of guacamole, and an horchata) it was 520 pesos($ 34US) that was pretty insulting. You’d think tacos were be on every corner around Tulum or at least inexpensive but neither are. Be prepared to spend or this is a must miss.

Tacos could have used more flavor – luckily the salsa bar saved the day. Got a refreshing horchata to cool down after having some spicy salsas. Our least favorite tacos of our entire Tulum trip(and the priciest ones we had), but the place had a cool vibe/décor.

YUM!!! And although you would definitely be able to find more economical in town… on this strip, this was a welcome bargain! NO muss, but fabulous food and service! Healthy portions for one stricken«satiated» from the heat. Ditto comments regarding salsa bar and best guac to date!

Pretty little food truck — literally in an old Volkswagen mini bus — the first meal in pretty little Tulum beach. Simply amazing food. The menu on the chalkboard says it all. Went for the 4 taco combo with a salad /salsa buffet. Out of This World! Cannot elaborate on how good each of the 4 tacos were — 2 sea food and 2 meat. The fish taco had the fish perfectly grilled and juicy and had zero fishy after taste. The sign that the fish taco is just right. The shrimp was soft and juicy and had the right amount of special salsa to go with it. Both the al pastor and the carne asada — again, braised to perfection, not over seasoned and oozing with mind blowing flavors. Finally — the salad /salsa bar. My favorite part — the hot as nuts habanero salsa. 3 drops to set your mouth on fire — I had to put 4 on each of my tacos and I was in heaven. Grilled cactus strips and 3 other types of salsas as sides — what more you can ask for. This trip started on the right note.
