Un Restaurant imperdible sobre la playa de Tulum. Muy recomendable el pulpo a la parrilla. El crème brûlée de piña es extraordinario. Ideal para parejas o grupos de amigos. Muy buen atención. Un must.

I’m from Texas so have had my fair share, but these were the best beer-battered fish tacos of my life! Matched with a frozen mint lemonade, I seriously could have eaten this every day of my vacation. Luckily the food in Tulum is seriously amazing almost everywhere we went… but this one topped my list.

Great day of sun, sand and sea! Went there for brunch and enjoyed a day in the sun, sand and sea. Had great coffee, fresh juices and cocktails and the food from guacamole and salad appetizers, to the lentil burger(for us vegetarians… they had plenty on the menu yay!) to the fish tacos friends had… all was was delicious. The menu is great. And we had a very relaxing day with the sun and sea breeze and the food and service, it really could not be beat! Highly recommend.

Very relaxed and gorgeous beach. Taking one star off as service at the beach bar was very mediocre. However the beach bar does cater to the local hotel tourists. We stayed at the restaurant for an excellent dinner. Relaxed atmosphere and excellent food. The menu offers tons of choices for vegetarians including a mushroom ceviche!

Great drinks! One of the few places in Tulum that know how to make a drink tasty and strong. By the time I had gotten to Ziggy’s, I had been in Tulum for a week and starving for red meat. They have a great burger that is delicious and hits the spot for any meat-craving traveler. I can’t tell whether I was just meat deprived or the burger was amazing, but it was definitely spot on and left me quite the satisfied and happy diner. Their salads are large and yummy as well – definitely check those out if you’re in the need for some greens. When we return to Tulum, we will definitely hit this place up again. 4 stars because service can be quite slow from the minute you sit down to the next 10 minutes of receiving a menu or any kind of attention.

High end quality Mexican food, live music, excellent service in a palapa beach décor. What else could you possibly want? I highly recommend the tuna taco appetizer.

The tuna nachos took me back to Hawaii — it so closely resembled the ahi poke that one would buy at the local Hawaiian restaurant. The service is also excellent on the beach! We arrived and while waiting for our room to be prepared, we grabbed some lunch and it was a great way to kick-off our vacation. Breakfast, which was included in our hotel stay, was also excellent. Something about the fruit plate with yogurt is magical — so fresh and delicious. Just have a little patience with the bar service, it can take a little longer than expected for your cocktails to arrive.

good service, very good food. I had the passion fruit shrimp and my husband had the spare ribs and both were excellent. Also very good service, which oddly, we found hard to come by during the slowest time of year. Extra points for ambiance and just for being open when many of the popular places were closed for«renewal». Would definitely go here again.

really loved the staff here and the swing seats at the bar, so cool. i ate a steak or chicken burrito for breakfast everyday while we stayed nearby. they have something cool going on every evening(i.e. live music, lobster night, wine tasting, etc.) beautful view and they serve beachside too.

If you want unimaginative food that’s slapped together and sent out dry and bland, then go here. I wish the food was as good as the service. The staff are amazing people, they greet you with warm smiles and that then translated into the entire night. But the food… The food is just bland, dry and boring! Presentation doesn’t inspire you. For an awesome location, you just don’t see anyone there going mmmmm and nodding their heads. This is the place taste buds go to die. Breakfast juices are great however. I give it 2 dry tortillas out of 5.

Drinks are a little pricey but really yummy. The food and the view are killer. Can’t beat drinking margaritas and eating delicious ceviche with the ocean 20 ft away! Servers got our order wrong, brought us the wrap version of the tacos we ordered but it was a happy accident! It was delicious! And like i stated earlier, the ceviche was stellar. This place is worth it!

We only tried cocktails when we came here and they were disappointing. I ordered a mezcal cocktail that the bartender recommended and it was not good. My other friend’s drinks were not good either. It is a shame because the bar is really cool with swings instead of bar stools and a big open area.

We had dinner at Ziggy’s last night and thought everything was awesome! Very tentative serving staff and waiters. As for the food, delicious! Tuna Nachos as a App is not what you think, it is served like a tartar and was outstanding. Entrees all were priced right and great quality. The Margarita Diablo was taste, lots of kick! Over, my wife, kids, and mother-in-law all enjoyed the food and service!

The drinks here were really good and the swings at the bar are a major plus. The service is on the slow side, hence the knocking off of a star. However, the food here is on point. The shrimp tacos were great as well as the octopus ceviche tostadas. They have a good happy hour too, so make sure you check it out :)

ziggy’s is a wonderful plAce to go for an ocean view dining experience. The food on the other hand was not all that great for me. I had a quesadilla that the waiter couldn’t tell me what the cheese was so it left me unsure about eating it. He was very friendly and some language barriers may have stopped that. My girlfriend got shrimp and just over all not the best food we had while In Tulum. Now go there for some cocktails and an evening on the beach and it could Be the best experience you hAve.

Ate breakfast here every morning as it was the restaurant included with our stay at Cabanas Tulum. LOVEDIT! Tried something different each of the 4 days and so did the rest of the family. Loved the juices including the Saludable, a mix of several flavors including beet which gives it a purple color. Great eggs, omelets, burritos, quesadillas, enchiladas, etc. and nice beachfront dining or sheltered dining in a large gazebo-type area. Delicious homemade bread too instead of chips or something more Mexican. Also a good happy hour from 4 to 6 for beers and margaritas. Didn’t eat dinner here since we wanted to spread around our dining experience, but I believe it would have been excellent. They do theme nights, and yesterday was lobster. Super friendly staff. If we had stayed here 2 weeks, we still may have eaten every single breakfast at Ziggy’s.

This place sucks. Don’t go here. I went here while on vacation for a week bc I read there were swings at a beach bar… Well nothing like any other swings beach bar I have been to. Horrible service horrible… Bees everywhere bc of sugary gross drinks. not worth a sit on a swing at all.

Best meal we have had in tulum. We started with the tuna nachos, a definite must. For dinner we had the short ribs and the grouper. Both were fantastic. We finished off with the chocolate soufflé and pineapple crème brûlée. Both were, again, really good, but we preferred the soufflé. The meal was a little on the pricier side, but well worth it.

Everything from the food to the service was great! We went there for a bite one afternoon after reading some reviews about the beach, and decided to check it out. Once there we asked about their NYE party. We booked it with them and went back for it a few days later. Once again, the food didn’t disappoint! Both Roberto and Freddy were extremely attentive and made sure we had a wonderful night. They even arranged for our cab when we were ready to go home. I strongly recommend checking this place out. You can have a bite and enjoy their beach chairs and beds. I would recommend trying the tuna nachos, which aren’t quite what the name suggests, and their arrachera plate. Margaritas were great too.

We stopped in to Ziggy Beach one afternoon for a cold adult beverage — and because I have always wanted to go to a beach bar with swings — and had the MOSTAMAZING guacamole and chips I’ve ever tasted. We shared the tuna tacos and were completely delighted. The hand made cocktails were awesome and the beer, ice cold. The service was adequate for a semi-busy afternoon in a beach bar. THEN we went back for dinner the next night. Beautiful ambiance at night, but NOTUNATACOS :(The guacamole had lost its yum factor and the service outright sucked. There was a party of about 20 drunk pre-wedding merry makers causing quite an annoying ruckus — so much so that most of the other patrons opted to leave — and the staff did nothing to quell the horrid behavior.(I’m sorry — I know you’re getting married, and everyone’s having a good time, but can you PLEASE get your mother off the table?) I ended up getting the grouper al pastor, expecting it to be great based on my earlier experience, and it was just average. Others at the table had basically the same experience and it was not an inexpensive dinner, but any sense of the word. I’m throwing out a middle of the road 3 stars, just because of those swings at the bar!
