That was a really fantastic find while exploring Amsterdam.
I didn’t have my Unilocal app active, but bright and wholesome display of different breads and fruits for the juices they make helped me make a decision.
The service was great: casual, friendly and timely. The girls working there made me feel welcomed and didn’t treat me like another annoying tourist. FYI: they have an English menu as well, just ask for it.
I went with the smoked chicken salad sandwich on a multigrain bread. The moment I bit into that bread I knew I was back in Europe: it tasted so real and wonderful. You can taste different nuts and seeds and the texture had a great crunch in the outside and soft center to hold the filling. The chicken salad itself was great as well: little mayo taste and generous chunks of chicken. I could also possibly taste some added pieces of died fruit, but I am not sure about that– I devoured that sandwich really quickly!
The price was not too bad too, as for a fresh and healthy option– a sandwich and iced tea can were about 11 Euros.
If I ever make it back to Amsterdam I will for sure look out for B & B Lunchroom signs!

Wir haben im B & B lunchroom gefrühstückt. Der Service war zuvorkommend und freundlich. Die Speisekarte wurde uns sowohl in niederländisch als auch in englisch zur Verfügung gestellt.
Bestellt haben wir ein Frühstück inkl. Kaffee welches uns auf einem schön angerichteten Tablett gereicht wurde.
Preislich lag das Frühstück mit knapp € 14, — am oberen Bereich. Was aber sicher für Amsterdamer Verhältnisse normal ist.
Abschließend gibt es für das Frühstück 4*. 1*Abzug wegen dem Preis.
5* gibt es übrigens für die echt leckeren Muffins. Einfach Spitze!

This is a great place to get lunch while shopping at Kalverstraat. There are a few scattered throughout the city and they serve delicious sandwiches.

The sandwiches are made with fresh ingredients and freshly baked bread. All their sandwiches are delicious, but I am particularly fond of their goat cheese sandwiches. A great place to pick up lunch.
They also offer salads and soup.

You can do take-​away or sit down. The service is standard for the Netherlands.
Atmosphere: ⁴⁄₅
There is plenty of seating and it is right on Rokin, so you can also window watch a bit.
Value: ⁵⁄₅
The average sandwich is around 6 – 7 euros and it is a fairly good size. The salads are closer to 9 euros. Overall, this is a cheap place to get good food in a very busy area.

Best Lunch or Breakfast in the center! And not expensive either. I always get the Steak and Cheese and its awesome. Full of flavor and the meat is good quality. Everything is super fresh and they make the sandwiches right in front of you. Great place. :)
Only downfall– they dont have any ICE for the soda’s

I stopped in here on my way to the library. Yes a great place to grab a bite to eat for brunch or lunch. Unfortunate for me their menu is very limited because I have Celiac. Anyways, you make the best with what you got. I enjoyed their smoothies, it was just what I needed to hit the spot, something healthy and natural. Next time I will make sure to try out one of their fabulous salads.

The best breakfast/​lunch spot we tried in Amsterdam.
We just happened upon B&B Lunchroom and decided to give it a whirl — so happy we did! My husband and I were really impressed with everything we ordered. The coffee was delicious and decadent and the Dutch breakfast platter was sumptious and never ending (to include ham and cheese platter with sprouts, a cup of fresh berries, granola and yogurt, eggs and warm ham, some veggies, coffee and fresh orange juice, and a basket of rolls and croissants!). My favorite was the fresh fig+goat cheese+arugula sandwich with honey and almonds. I still have dreams of this and am determined to recreate it one day! Delicious.

This place is great! I love this place for the delicious sandwiches (GOAT CHEESE!!) and awesome pastries! (MUFFINS!) Also I think they are really a lot cheaper for lunch than most lunchrooms in the city centre, and the taste is great. Love love loveeee…

could eat here, i think, for every meal. screw subway. screw all other sandwich shops. this is my new dream. a multilingual cast. crazy toppings (grilled figs, please?). fresh avocado. enormous muffins. muffinnnnnnn…

Aw finally, a proper sandwich in the A’dam. This place has a HUGE menu of sandwiches with actual stuff on them, not just butter and boiled egg or herring (which don’t get me wrong, are good too. I just like a bunch of toppings on my sammies).
The ingredients, which are visible from the line, are so fresh and ripe looking, I’m starting to drool just thinking about it. There’s also coffee, tea, espresso, and juice available here, so it’s a complete lunch stop.
I was strong enough to resist the cheesecake, but just barely. I’ll try it on my next visit.
