Café 16cc

Great local bar, excellent ambience, I go here with friends for a night out as well as by myself for an afternoon pint or two and a good book on the leather couch.

Whoa! Why didn’t I discover this place sooner?!
Awesome location, top of the class interior, shiny fragrant toilets, movies, music, drinks, food, you name it, this place has it.
I went here on a quiet weekday evening to enjoy a movie screening. Since we were somewhat early, we decided to spend some time at the bar sipping on hot mint tea and snacking on some mushroom croquettes. The service is exceptional and comes with free smiles.
The theater downstairs was quaint and relaxing with great acoustics for a private venue. The chairs were more comfortable than conventional cinema chairs, not to mention you could enjoy some nice drinks while watching a movie with friends!
There is also space upstairs to lounge around.
Café 16cc definitely has potential to become one of my favorite hang out spots in Amsterdam.
