Después de un paseo en bicicleta en una mañana muy fría y un paseo por, encontramos refugio en este lugar. Sin pensarlo mucho, nos pedimos la sopa de goulash. Yo la acompañé con un vaso de heineken y mi novio con vino caliente. Riquísima la sopa. Debo decir que en diferentes lugares del mundo he pedido goulash y siempre me han servido alguna versión distinta, pero todas tienen algo en común: son exquisitas. El goulash no decepciona.
El lugar tiene pocas mesas y la atención es muy amable. El precio me pareció accesible. La ubicación es muy buena, ideal para seguir recorriendo la ciudad.

Cafè ‘t Hooischip has been in the family for forty-​five years. Owner (Chef-​in-​the Cellar) Joop and his vivacious Better Half are super hospitable. Joop likes his Trappist ales so the list is adequate. The food we ordered (Broodje Bal and Snert — see the photo) were good old-​fashioned homemade Dutch Comfort Fare. Add to that the ambience, the service, the view, the location, if you’ve not been here yet, what are you waiting for? Look for the Unilocal sticker in the window across from The Stopera at the foot of the Blue Bridge. Tram 9 stops out front. If I were Mayor Eberhard Cafè ‘t Hooischip would be my daily hangout.

Kleine, wunderbar gemütlich-​urige Kneipe direkt an der Amstel. Genau das richtige für ein Bierchen am Abend. Die Dame an der Bar war freundlich und unkompliziert.
