I went here when I was studying abroad in May and it was delicious. I got the funky monkey crêpe which had nutella, bananas, and chocolate. They make the crepes as you order them so you know it is fresh. I would recommend eating it inside because I dropped mine when I got it for take away. The prices are very reasonable.

Woke up in Amsterdam with a breakfast crave? Well crave no more. You’re in the right place.
Actually, you don’t even have to have for breakfast, the line that was here at night indicates that every time is waffle time!
After a long night out we marked that place and promised we’ll come back. And boy oh boy — worth it!
I had a waffle with chocolate and bananas, they were a bit soft for me but still edible.
Just awesome… With all that sweetness though I had to get water.
The staff is very nice, the waffles are fresh and there are many options to choose from, there are also crepes that sounded pretty amazing but I was just too full to get them.
I was in Amsterdam for a pretty short amount of time so it was very little time for location-​sampling. Yet– impressed.

Doesn’t disappoint– I mean it wasn’t the best waffle Id ever had by all means, but if you’re looking for a good tasting crêpe or waffle with choices of strawberries, bananas, and/​or Nutella this place can satisfy. The waffle was luke warm when I got mine, and the Nutella on the banana & Nutella crêpe was smothering. Tasty, but probably my sugar intake for I dunno… a month.

I really wanted to love this place but… the crepes are just okay, nothing amazingly spectacular. The flavor combinations are definitely very innovative, but fail to deliver on expectations. I had a New York Cheesecake crêpe, and the cheesecake crème was definitely really cool, but there wasn’t enough of it, and the brownie bits were just kind of oddly there… the crêpe was also super chewy with no sweetness to it.
However, what they lack in taste, they make up for in friendly staff and good facilities. All waffles and crepes are made fresh and to order. There is also free WiFi available if you login to Facebook, and toilets in the back.

Crêpes and Waffles is a neat little place near the Dam Square in Amsterdam. I was definitely thinking I need a crêpe in my life, and I stumbled upon this place. I ended up going semi early in the morning.
I ordered a chunky monkey crêpe. It had Nutella, chocolate sauce, and bananas. What’s not to love? I waited for them to make a fresh crêpe, they were really friendly and I didn’t have to wait long. They also had coffee, waffles and savory crêpes.
When my crêpe arrived, it was off the hook. The crêpe had an underlying cinnamony sweet flavor. There was a good amount of fruit and Nutella. I ate the whole thing, and it was definitely worth it. I’m probably gonna go again soon to try a savory crêpe! Haha they had one called the spicy Mexican with grilled chicken and jalapeños that I can’t wait to try. I definitely recommend this place!

I was really craving a waffle and stumbled upon this place near Dam Square, so I just had to go in. They offer both sweet and savory crepes and homemade waffles that are freshly made to order.
I wish I could have ordered everything off the menu, since it looked so good, but we settled on the homemade waffle with Nutella & banana with additional whipped cream & strawberries for EUR 5.40. It was DELICIOUS, and they were quite generous with the toppings. Perfect for 2 people to share, but I probably could have eaten one all by myself. ;-)
We were really enjoying hanging out at our table… to the point where one of the staff asked if we wanted some lattes on the house. Oops, I guess it was a sign that we were lingering a bit too long… I got a bit embarrassed, so we said no thanks and got up and left.
