Last night in Amsterdam with the girls before we part ways we had to go out for a last hoorah, on a Monday night. We didn’t feel like exploring far or do much research but luckily we stumbled to Luminaa. It was a cold night so we sat indoors and surprisingly enough they had a DJ playing tunes. The space is relatively small so I can only imagine how crowded it could get on a weekend. They have purple neon lights which is a nice feminine touch and my friends instantly became best friends with the bouncer guy. Someone dropped their glass and it shattered all over the floor. I watched them sweep it up but didn’t do a very good job so bits of glass were still on the floor so I guess no one really cares. This would be a law suit in the States. Overall had a pleasant time.

Next week, we went to this little bar because of the weather. We stayed outdoor and we felt so cosy, thanks to the heat lamp and the blanket! We came back the next day evening instead. Thank’s for the service!

We were there with a somewhat larger group of about 15 people, on a Friday night at around 10pm. At that time the place is empty, but if the group is large enough, you’ll be fine, as the music is already quite good. They gave us a couple of rounds of free shots(ok the glasses were very small!), and I think the rest of the drinks were a little bit pricey… but. who has time to drink when you are dancing anyways, right? So depending on your taste of music, the music they play here is quite alright. Loud, but not too loud. so you can actually hear each other without screaming. Thats a plus :). We stayed till around 2am, and by that time, the place was packed. All in all good experience, and would recommend if you are with a larger group. It’s a good starting point of your night.
