The location of this café is second to none. It’s right beside the Anne Frank museum and across the canal from the tulip museum. Oh and the cheese museum! The food is mediocre in my opinion. The first morning I ordered coffee and crossants and they were plain and simple. But the second morning I had the tomato soup and yuck. Tasted like it had sat in a tin on a shelf for months. And the service was uneventful. The same guy was on duty both days and he barely cracked a smile. The WiFi is free though which was good as some in my group had sore heads from the night before so we ended up sitting for longer than I wanted to.

Really good food. Some friends and I came after visiting the Anna Frank House. They have a good selection of eats to choose from. I had the Salami Baguette and it was perfect! Very filling. The mini waffles are also delicious. Great choice for a quick bite to eat.

This place is right next to Ann Frank’s house. With being so cold the day we went we stopped by to get a hot cocoa. It was nice, cozy and the service was great.

Very good breakfast and convenient when seeing the city! Cappuccino was really good as well, and you get both coffee and fresh squeezed OJ with the English breakfast. Did I mention the OJ was fresh squeezed? Staff was very kind as well. Would recommend if you’re looking for a quick bite before or after seeing the Anne Frank house!

We had skip the line Anne Frank tickets YAY. Stopped in here to grab toast and cheese. The staff are mean and grumpy. BOO don’t stop here. Wish we had gone somewhere else. AND it is taking FOREVER to get our toast and cheese. Had to update. Simple toast, tomato and cheese came out with ham. We don’t eat ham. We asked for our money back because so much time lapsed we had to leave to go to Anne Frank. What a colossal waste of time. Used Unilocal after and went to Broodje Bert. It was great!

Location is great to stop by for a quick breakfast before getting on a canal ride as the purple line stop is right outside. Service is great, they’re so friendly and very helpful in giving me suggestions on the quickest way to get from some places I wanted to get to in Central Amsterdam. I had the poffertjes with a latte, they got it to our table really quickly. There’s also free wifi(for people who don’t want to pay to use it). It says you have to pay to use the restrooms, unless you’re a paying customer though.

Sandwiches, Bagels, guter Kaffee und frisch gepresster Saft in einen urigen kleinen Café direkt an der Gracht! Ein tolles Frühstück außerhalb des Hotels! :) Sehr zu empfehlen!

Absolute horrendous service. Thanks for making getting a coffee a painful experience. The shit talking in Dutch was pretty classy as well. Some of us Americans do understand your language, you know.

3.5 stars. I loved this little café. It was so European! They serve sandwiches, coffee, and little baked treats. Also, there is free wifi available for use(if you want to access it on your iPod). I will upload pictures of this café — it was so adorable!

That’s 3.51. We had breakfast here this morning before visiting the Anne Frank House. We were the only customers until another couple walked in. We each had an onion bagel w/cream cheese and lox. Unlike most American bagels it was a reasonable size and firm texture, not doughy and corpulent. The lox was fresh and tasty and the cream cheese was generously spread. Slices of cucumber and tomato accompanied it. We also had tea. It was a good breakfast, not too filling but enough to sustain us throughout the morning.

I just stopped in here for a frozen coffee and a cup of tomato soup after going to the Anne Frank House. The food and drink were well-done and the service was exceptional. The owner and his assistant were speedy and courteous. Prices were nowhere near as high as they could be for being in such a fantastic location.
