Oedipus Brewing

Easily one of the best breweries I’ve been to, and trust me, I’ve been to more than I should admit.
Oedipus has fantastic service (the bartenders kept pulling out different exotic bottles for me to try), fantastic beer of many styles, and fantastic aesthetics. All of the beers had cool labels and neat stories behind their names.
This is a small company (I think around 10 employees) and all of them were super friendly and happy to talk shop without arrogance or pretension. I loved learning about the history of the place and seeing their new banana tree!
If you’ve come to Amsterdam with a taste for good brew, make this your top priority. My only gripe is that it’s a little hard to find. Ask around and some friendly local will show you the way.
