What’s the appeal of an Irish Pub in «every city in the world»? Dependability — you know what you will find(generally). O’Reilly’s did not disappoint — friendly folks, quality Guinness and plenty of TVs to watch sport(cricket when we were there). Ate there twice and food was solid Irish pub food. Will be back

Cool place. Have a few pints, a nice dinner or catch a game with friends and get loud. There fine with it! Multi-level, but one level is totally handicap accessible. Loved it.

The Irish breakfast with a pint of Guinness will set almost anyone right. They have a large American style menu with Irish and English stuff on there as well. Sundays they serve a traditional Sunday roast that’s good and there is usually football on the many TV screens. The service is fantastic and fun, this is a regular hangout and we love it. Its great for groups and kids.

Great place and great food but limited beer selection. If it ain’t Irish they don’t have it. I understand the Irish thing but this is Amsterdam for Christ’s sake!

An Irish pub: good music, good beer, good food and soccer matches. I like the hamburger and specials.

An Irish bar in Amsterdam — apparently they have locations in Brussels and Germany as well. The bar is fairly good size, but on the somewhat rainy Saturday afternoon we stopped in, it was slammed. We finally found a table in the small back room crammed up right close to one of the TV screens. Football was on and some of the patrons appeared to have had a few too many already so made for some fun people watching as well. Nothing fancy here — lots of wood and darker interior. Service was fine. Great place to grab a pint and enjoy a game. We hadn’t eaten so decided to try the pub fare. I decided on the steak and Guinness pie which was by far the better choice than my husband’s steak and cheese. The steak and cheese just looked bad and he did not enjoy it. Luckily my pie, while a bit bland, was huge so I shared with him. I would recommend visiting for the beer and games and perhaps sticking to a simple appetizer or eating elsewhere.

If your looking for a pub that reminds you of home then this is the place, more wood and football and loud peeps like Irish ‘n Londoners — not like the Dutch… and did I mention football always on the tube. The full Irish breakfast is a good choice and nothing fancy, but the bacon was better this time. Its’ the only place to get a proper pint of Guinness in the entire Netherlands and a fabulous location for people watching. Children are allowed in the pub too.

Probably the best Fish and Chips in Amsterdam, nice Buffalo Wings and Beef and Guinness Stew. Service is a bit spotty, but acceptable, and it’s a great place to hang out for a quick pint, of Murpheys or with a small party. Also great for sports fans, and not too touristy. A little on the expensive side for an Irish Pub, but not too bad.

Without a doubt, the most enjoyable I Pub in XXX. The service was flawless, the owner made herself known and shared the preparation on chicken drumettes that I will crave fortnightly like«The Colonel’s Chicken.» They have all my fave single malt whiskeys, including my jam… three swallows POWERS Irish Whiskey. Annemarie and Sascha… you killed the Pace Party. If you’re ever in the US, you know who to hit up. And the live music. perfection.

My friend who lives in Amsterdam visits this place often and highlighted some of her favorite food options from the menu. I was quite surprised that she would be recommending the goat cheese salad at a Irish pub. That just didn’t seem like a possibility, so I had to try it. It is definitely one of the best goat cheese salads that I have had. I also like that you can order a full or half size of the salads. All my friends ordered something different and everyone enjoyed sampling each others dishes. Everything was good. I also tried some hot mint tea and was very surprised to not just find a hot mug of water with a tea bag inside. Instead, I received a mug of hot water and fresh large mint leaves inside. It was one of the best mint teas I have had!

I enjoyed this spot. We came for breakfast. Wanted to go during dinner but the place was packed during a game. My breakfast dish was very fulfilling, with eggs, potatoes, beans, bacon, sausage and toast. Great service.

Traditional Irish pub fare, cozy atmosphere, and a decent staff. The location is probably the best thing going for it. Good number of beers on tap and a better selection in bottles. My group had light fare, soups and fries, and all were passable to good. A fine, safe choice if you’re not looking for any surprises or anything out of the ordinary.

We stopped here for drinks on the sidewalk one evening and tried some fried things called bitterballen and vlammetjes… neither were very inspiring. It’s situated in a cool location, and the sidewalk seating was killer for people watching.

Big Irish pub located near the Centrum of Amsterdam. Wide choice of beers, decent food menu with large portions, and friendly enough staff. Service was a little slow, but I gather that’s the norm in Amsterdam. There were quite a few screens covering the football which I liked, and there’s also karaōke after 10 pm on Saturday nights, which I thought would have been nice to stay for although my companion disagreed! When there are no games on, the music’s also quite nice — a selection of contemporary hits.

Nice place, decent choice of beer covering lager and bitter. Friendly staff. Not too pricey, plenty of space, usually some entertainment there or Sports although not in each area so its not enforced upon you. Good pub.

I have been giving out five star reviews because Im in a good mood, seriously though. I was looking for a break from all the coffee shops and stumbled(figuratively not literally) upon O’Reilly’s. Its my goal to go to every irish pub in the world .and with each bar. my goal is not really closer because there are a million irish bars. Everyone was really friendly. they had Magners which was great because everywhere else had Strongbow. Also GREAT outside seating. a Must if your in the city
