Tweedehands Kleding Over en Weer

Rijnstraat is one of my laid back streets to stroll on when I am in the mood to walk in the neighborhood. Once in a while I will stop by this second hand shop and take a peek and explore their goods. What I appreciate about this shop is that they estimate their items at a reasonable price, because some of the shops in Amsterdam have really lost their mind in pricing second-​hand items. The customer service is extremely polite and friendly. Once in a while, I will get lucky and find some really cool and unique things in here. You can also sell your unwanted clothes here too. The store owner buys them upfront, if she is interested in the items, but please keep in mind that the price maybe low.

‘Over en Weer’ is a second-​hand clothing shop located at the end of the Rijnstraat. From the outside this place might not look very interesting but when you go in you’ll see that the actual shop is in the basement and is quite large. They sell clothing for both men and woman but their woman’s section is a lot larger.
When you search well you can actually find some really nice stuff for a good price at this place. Last week I saw several King Louie dresses priced for 20 euros and even stuff by Escada and Kenzo for quite cheap. What I think is weird about the place is that everything is in the same price range, not much difference if something is by H&m, C&A, King Louie or Kenzo. And I would never pay 20 euros for a second-​hand H&M dress, but for a pretty King Louie dress I might. So the prices are a bit odd.
This place is nice to check out every once in a while but since it is a bit out of the city centre it might be a bit far if you’re living in west or something and I don’t think its really worth a long bike ride.
