Bagel AND Juice

Incredibly slow service, unattentive, staff couldn’t care less. Had to wait over half an hour for a crappy bagel. Which was not worth it. Will not come back again.

I was kind of disappointed with this quaint little café. Even though the outside terrace looked nice from a distance, sitting down you quickly notice the rickety quality of the chairs. They’re some sort of wooden fold-​out chair, and it makes it incredibly difficult to have a conversation as –not only cars pass you by at close range– you are also trying to keep your balance and not fall head-​long into your bagel.
There is nothing wrong with the bagels themselves, or the juice for that matter. it’s just that I’ve had better, and I’ve certainly had less expensive. I guess this place mainly runs on its Eindhoven-​The Hills clientele which means that they don’t have to go the extra mile.
it’s sad though, if this place would take itself a little bit more seriously, it could really be something. There’s great potential here, it’s just not utilised, and you get the sense that the owner’s in it for the money, and the money alone.
Damnit Eindhoven, get it together!
