Delicious British small bites, sweet and savory, I wish we had been able to have dinner here. The charming brothers who took over this Haarlem institution several years ago have kept favorite recipes and clearly brought a contemporary chef’s sensibility as well.

Wow what a great little spot to stop for a bite to eat and some amazing tea. The previous review said it’s closed but I just visited and it’s certainly open for business so you should book a table when in town. I had scones with Lady grey tea and it was perfect.

Sadly Ma Browns has now closed as Mike the owner /​chef has retired, and after serving such wonderful food for so many years he deserves it — All the best!
