Another stop on Lindbergh Tours. Just like Zaanse Schaan, there is history with this place and how they used clogs, or wood shoes, for agricultural purposes. The day I went, there was a guy that went through the earlier stages of making a clog(he is trilingual: Dutch, English, and Spanish) as there was a heavy Spanish contingent. The machines are next to the rest of the gift shop where you can buy clogs in regular sizes of various colors/designs or miniature ones as a souvenir. Other basic souvenirs: shot glasses, earrings, and basic snack items are also there as well. This place gets a lot of business from Lindbergh Tours who runs it all the time but it’s a nice place to get a taste of Dutch history.
