3A Copy & Design

It baffles me when you go into a print store and ask them to print 100 copies of something you have on a USB drive and they say, «sure, that’ll be ready for pick-​up tomorrow morning.» Especially when there is noone else in the store. Granted, I am no authority in print and copying but surely all you do is put the USB in the drive, select the file and click ‘print.’ 20 second exercise, right? Wrong.
I have been to 3A before and they have printed documents straight away so perhaps they had heaps of other jobs that day. Anyway, after informing the employee that I really needed them printed that day he said «ok» and asked me to wait. So wait I did. Finally, after 30mins he told me, the file wouldn’t print. My issue here is not that the file wouldn’t print but that he waited 30mins to tell me he was having difficulty, all the while I was sitting there thinking the wait was because my flyers were printing.
I hate to say it but back to Warehouse Stationary I go…
