A visit to my local Bin Inn always leaves me feeling that modern supermarkets have lost the charm of general stores of old. Don’t get me wrong, I like to convenience of modern supermarkets, but I feel disconnected from the ladies at the till and even the store manager. This was so different years back when the manager knew what you wanted before you even asked. It was personal, and supermarkets have become very cold and impersonal these days. This is different at your local Bin Inn where you can still buy by the gram, and even swap a recipe or two. I normally just buy sweets and flour, but you can save a bit of cash by buying bulk. And their selection is not bad at all.
