First found out about this place through a groupon and love it here! The proprietor Christine is very sweet and pleasant. She’s really great about remembering her clients’ names. She remembered me when I booked my second appt. Although her schedule’s pretty busy, I love that she will accommodate late appts past standard business hours! Works perfectly for me since I’m a night owl and I live only a few blocks away. Great prices and special promotions for continuing customers too :)

I got yet another voucher off one of those websites as I am a sucker for a good deal. This place is in a handy central location but be warned: do not get confused with the door like I did. There is a door with a doorbell which I didn’t realise existed so I stood outside for ages wondering what to do as you could not knock on the door due to a security door covering the actual door. Not that anyone would be quite as clueless as I but thought I would chuck in that piece of advice just to be safe.
So you walk up some steep steps to a very nice level where the salon is. I was led into a room where there was another girl getting her eyelashes done and I lay down on the table while they did my eyelashes as standard protocol goes. Halfway through the girl excused herself and started talking to her superior in what sounded to me like a slightly distressed tone but I could not understand her as she was talking in an Asian language. Her boss finished off the job for her and I do not know what happened because they did not communicate with me. The end result looked very nice but after the first night a lot of lashes fell out which was very disappointing, normally with other places this does not happen. Hopefully this business has sorted itself out by now because I think it may be new.
